Pico private holiday rental house - Wonderful home in the Azores, Portugal

Holidays on the Azores, specially on Pico, are holidays for special people. The islands offer you pure nature, the wide ocean, silence and nice people. We would like you to have wonderful and unforgetable holidays. Our holiday house "Casa Palmeira" is in the village Pontas Negras on the south side Pico. Since it lies above the coast, also this house has a beautiful view to the sea. The probability to see dolphins or whales, is on the south side of Pico considerable higher, because the whales pass mainly on this side. We have seen dolphins and whales many times from our terrace, when we have breakfast or tea. It is really magnificent.

Pico is the most beautiful island. Everywhere it is flowering and green. For the ones who love nature, Pico is the best place. The climate is mild. On Pico there are museums (for example in Lajes do Pico: hosted in the old boatshouses is an expressivenessy museum. It has the “traditional whale hunting” as theme). Overlooking points (with wonderful panorama-views), many nice people, little villages and much, much nature. Nearly every single day in the summer dolphins pass by the coast. Sometimes, you can also observe whales from the land. The coastline of Pico is breathtaking. The volcanic orign of this island is always and anywhere present.

The kitchen area is fully equipped and has plenty of work surfaces. The dining area has a table and seating for four people, a coffee table and a large sofa that converts to an orthopaedic double bed. The shower room comprises of a shower, washbasin, bidet and WC. The bedroom has a double bed and two large wardrobes. The house has tile floors and wood ceilings throughout with blinds at all windows facing the rising sun.

Outside Area:The property has two terraced areas one with an overhead shade. Please note there is off road parking and a small electricity distribution point on a post approximately 25 meters from the house.
