The house is situated in the village of Mohon, which provides basic amenities, including a mini market and baker's (essential for those freshly baked croissants!) bank. Post Office, a bar and a further bar/restaurant. Everything is within 2 minutes walk of the house. We are 10 minutes north of the lovely medieval town of Josselin, with its grand chateau, the Nantes-Best canal, its interesting buildings and lively market on Saturdays. Towards Ploermel you will also come to the Lac au Duc, less than 15 minutes drive away. This is a lovely spot, with safe bathing, water-sports, waterslides and a bar/restaurant right on the lakeside Within easy reach are a whole range of other places to visit and interesting things to do.

Our weekly rental rates include gas, electricty, water, wood when required. Bedding is provided but you can bring your own bedlinen and towels or take advantage of our optional laundry service at £10pp per stay.

The kitchen is well appointed with all mod cons including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge-freezer and microwave. There's a large dining table in the kitchen, but for al fresco dining, why not move onto the terrace, where you can sip your wine, looking out onto the large garden, watching the sun go down? The lounge is well furnished in a rustic style. We have an enormous fireplace with wood-burning stove, and there's expose stonework and beams for that cosy feel. In fact we have exposed beams in every room! There are 5 bedrooms. 2 doubles (1 with en-suite shower room) one twin room, 1 single and another room with a single bed and double sofa bed, so there's lots of flexibility in the sleeping accommodation. We can accommodate a maximum of 10 people plus baby (We have a travel cot and high chair available) There are lots of DVDs, books and children's games available.

Outside Area:To the rear of the house is an enormous covered terrace, where you can sit and while away the hours with a glass (or two!) There's a BBQ for your use and two large picnic benches for al fresco dining. We also have table football,on the terrace plus swings and a 14 ft trampoline in the garden. The garden is completely enclosed and there's plenty of parking.
