Yukon weather
The Yukon has a subarctic climate which provides relatively warm summers with temperatures frequently 25C or higher during the long summer days. In winter temperature range between 4C to a bitter -50C. Temperatures in the Summers are fairly warm with 24-hour daylight in June and July. Winters are bitterly cold with short days and little sun.
Getting there
Air North (Yukon’s Airline) provides regular services to Whitehorse from Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary and at just over 2 hours flying time from Edmonton many airlines can provide same day connections from across North America. Condor Airlines operate a direct service to Whitehorse, twice a week from Frankfurt, Germany May to October.
