Weather in Baja California Sur
Baja California experiences agreeable weather all throughout the year. Tourists often head to the area in the summer in order to benefit from the miles of stunning coastline and beaches. The weather can be somewhat uncomfortably hot at that time, but there are welcome breezes off of the water. The weather is warm throughout the winter, making Baja a wonderful winter destination, particularly for travellers coming from colder parts of the world. Warmest months of the year in Baja are July through September, when temperatures usually stay in the nineties throughout the day. Coldest months of the year are the Jan to march, when temperatures are in 50 - 70 degrees.
Getting There
Most people who visit Baja fly directly to Los Cabos (SJD). There are international airports located in Tijuana and Mexicali, but US tourists will find it easier to fly to US destinations and drive in (be sure you're approved to take your hire car to Mexico).
