South Dakota does have occasional days with typical temperatures up to 32C but harsh winter temperatures are normal. There are broad temperature ranges, light to moderate rainfall and loads of sunshine.
Getting there
South Dakota is served by two major airports, Sioux Falls Regional Airport (FSD), in the southeast acting as the major gateway, and is served by Northwest, United, Delta and Allegiant airlines. Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) in the west is served by Northwest, United, Delta and Allegiant airlines.
