Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS), previously known as Beef Island Airport, is the main airport serving the British Virgin Islands. Airlines include, American Eagle, Caribbean Star, LIAT, Seaborne Airlines, Cape Air, Caribbean Sun. The airport will not accommodate major jets, only 70-80 seat turboprops and small jets. There is a $20 departure tax for anyone over the age of five years old.
