Riverside Trails Bed and Breakfast is nestled on 7 acres of park-like setting and backs onto a 18km hike and bike path and the Okanagan River. Our newly renovated, large, three room suites offer you complete privacy, natural surroundings and easy access to Oliver BC "The Wine Capital of Canada". Come share a little "piece of heaven" in the Okanagan with us! New "hot tub" added this year. We rent only the ground floor "Catulpa" suite is operating this year.
Your Hosts Tom and Dorothy McLaughlin have lived in the Okanagan for over 30 years. The property was purchased as a flat alfalfa field and over the years has been cultivated into a beautiful tree filled sanctuary. Tom is an avid motorcyclist, touring throughout Canada and the USA. He has been raising exotic parrot type birds for the pet trade for twenty eight years. Dorothy is a lover of horses and dogs. She has been a "puppy walker" for the CNIB and has participated in cross country horse competitions.
Visitors to Riverside Trails Bed and Breakfast will get to meet Moon (Smooth Fox Terrier), Azul (Kerry Blue Terrier), Cuervo (Palamino Quarter Horse) and Apache (miniature horse). Tom and Dorothy have travelled extensively visiting such places as: India, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Belize, The Caribbean, Dubai, and Thailand.

Riverside Trails Bed and Breakfast is situated in the South Okanagan Valley, 2 km North of Oliver, British Columbia. Oliver is located 40 km south of Penticton and 20 km north of Osoyoos and the Canadian/US border.
Riverside Trails offers you onsite access to many interesting and fun activities.
Hike and Bike Trail: 18 km trail along the Okanagan River. Your own entrance, paved and natural pathways, hiking, biking, roller blading and horse back riding. No motorised vehicles are permitted. Just walk out our gate and enjoy.
Okanagan River: Go for a swim or tube down the river into Oliver. For the more adventure, you can start up stream and tube down to Riverside Trails.
Star Gazing: No city lights here! Our crystal clear skies make it possible to star gaze from your deck, on Mt. Kobau or at the world class “White Lake Observatory.”
Bird watching: The Okanagan Valley is a major migration fly way for many types of water foul, eagles, ospreys, owls, hawks, and a large variety of song birds.
Horseshoe pitch, basketball and fire pit on site: Relax and have fun on your doorstep. And of course the new hot tub this year(08).
Local Wine tasting and vineyard tours: There are more than a dozen wineries right on our doorstep.
Many lakes: Including Osoyoos Lake, Canada’s warmest lake, with all types of water sports and recreation.

Riverside Trails Bed and Breakfast "Catulpa Suite" was fully renovated in spring 2006. This ground floor, three room suite has a private entrance, with large deck, sitting room, separate bedroom and private bathroom with tub and shower.
The sitting room comes with a new sofa bed, fridge, coffee maker, satellite television, DVD and VCR. The bedroom has a queen size bed, air conditioning and the entire suite is tastefully decorated with antiques. A new "hot tub" just off the deck completes your holiday stay! Tasty breakfasts using local organic produce is available.
Outside Area:Riverside Trails offers boarding of you and your horses.
We have a separate riding ring and loafing shed for two horses. Easy parking and turn around area for your truck and trailer. Ride right off the property on the Hike and Bike trail and into the hills if you like.
This is a very “horse friendly establishment”.
