Petit Guemene cottage is located in the enchanting and ancient market town of Guemene sur Scorff, which was the seat of the noble Rohan family in the Middle Ages and is valued for its ancient buildings that make up the town cente The cottage is located close to 6 golf courses about 40 minutes away: its a10 minutes drive to cycle along the Nantes-Brest canal tow paths and 4 bikes are provided. Guemene has every facility: patesseries, boulangeries, great supermarket, restaurants and banks all a 10 minute stroll from the house, and also a weekly market and seafood truck that comes to town twice a week. This romantic 3-level cottage was sympathetically renovated to a very high standard in 2008: it sleeps 6, with 2 double bedrooms and 2 landing single beds. The original beam ceilings and chestnut floors have been retained, while adding a thoroughly modern kitchen and 2 new bathrooms. The house has central heating and is internet and phone connected. The house opens to its own private walled garden with 2 patios: furniture and BBQ is provided. Rates include a welcome pack, all linens and towels (except beach towels) and a professional cleaning service on your departure. One of Brittany's oldest taverns, Les Trois Marchands, has been serving customers since the mid 1600s.Soft-sand beaches, fishing ports, seaside towns and artist towns are all within an hours drive.

Guemene sur Scorff is located in teh warm southern part of Brittany, Morbihan and is ideally positioned to ride and pub-lunch along the canals, walk ancient Roman roads, visit the forests of King Arthur and coasrtal art towns. Lac de Guerledan is a magnificent stretch of water located at the heart of Brittany’s legendary forest the Argoat, about 20 minutes from teh cottage. It is renowned for its beauty, various watersports and excellent carp fishing. A popular venue for families, the Lac boasts several clean sandy beaches.

Outside Area:Thre 2 rear patios offer either sahde or sunshine and are enclosed in teh remains of ancient town walls. Furniture and umbrellas are provided.
