Casa da Tranquilidade is a delightful Villa with a secluded pool located in a magnifcient countryside setting - built in a tradtional algarvian style. Here you can get away from every days hussle and buzzle. It is a charming villa with a private pool and is set in three acres in the hills, 15km inland from Tavira, Olhao or Sao Bras de Aportel. Casa da Tranquilidade is overlooking a valley with breathtaking spectacular views. It's peaceful surroundings invite you for either long walks or just a peaceful rest. An abundance of exotic wild flowers from Orchids to common daisies grow beneath the ancient olive and carob trees which clad the hills.

The Villa is 1.5km away from the Centre of Santa Catarina, which is a typical rural village of the region. It contains a mixture of tavernas, cafés, mini markets, a post office and a bank. Casa da Tranquilidade is approx. 15km from the ancient and picturesque town of Tavira in the eastern Algarve. Tavira offers something for all. Historical churches, a castle and a museum, a colourful market, excellent shopping facilities and numerous bars and restaurants. Superb sandy beaches are within easy reach, about 15km away. All have EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness and polution free water. Barril Beach - children love the miniature railway that shuttles back and forth across the nature reserve to the befor furach of Barril. There are restaurants and different sporting activities you can choose from.

Rental notes: Price relates to an occupancy of 4 people. A fith bed can be supplied and will be charged according to season price. The balance is due 45 days prior to the start of the holiday rental. A baby cot can be supplied for at an additional charge of Euro 30 per week. Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is before 10am.

The Villa is comfortably furnished throughout and comprises a fully fitted new kitchen, lounge with a traditional stone fireplace. Each room has additional marble heaters for the cooler months and a ceiling fan in kolonial style, for the warmer time of the year. A dining area with French windows opening to a patio with stairs leading to the roof sun terrace with wonderful views. All windows and doors have high quality double glazing. Both bed rooms, one twin bedded and the other one with a double bed, have en-suite bathrooms, one with bath, one with shower. They are charmingly furnished in cottage style.

Outside Area:The pool area offers a large sun umbrellas and 4 sunbeds as well as 6 sunchairs and table for dining outside.
