The entirely new cottages "Le Sourire du Soleil" are located in a quiet area in the south Ardeche in the picturesque village of Chassiers between Aubenas and Largentière. They are located next to the forest and close to the center of Chassiers, where you find the bakery, the grocery store and two restaurants. The Ardèche is characterized by its medieval villages, mountains, forests, rivers and the good climate of southern France. In the area you can walk, do canoeing, horseback riding, visit museums and caves, take a ride with the tourist train, play petanque, etc.. And do not forget the many restaurants and terraces. Our cottages are located just outside the center of the little medieval 'village de caractère' Chassiers where you find the bakery, the grocery store and two restaurants. The Ardèche is characterized by its medieval villages, mountains, forests, cascades, rivers and the good climate of southern France. In the area you can walk, swim in the rivers, do canoeing, horseback riding, visit adventure parks, museums and caves, take a ride with the tourist train, play petanque, etc.. And do not forget the many restaurants and terraces. There are many beautiful walkings or hikes to make. The medieval village of Largentière (3 km distance) has a lovely center and a beautiful castle.

Rental notes: The tariffs for the gîtes are: In april:€ 400 Low-season: € 525 (may, october) Mid-season: € 625 (june, september) High-season: € 820 (july, august) When you will make your reservation we will send you the contract.

Both cottages are entirely new (2012) and comfortable and each can accommodate 4 people. Each cottage has a large covered terrace on the south side, living area with fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms each with two beds (80x200), bathroom with shower and washbasin and separate toilet.

Outside Area:In the big garden, where you can freely walk, there is a picknicktable and a table-tennis. There are fruit-trees and lovely flowers and the butterflies will welcome you. And of course there the smile of the sun (le sourire du soleil). The owners are hospitable. Next to the swimmingpool is a sun-terrace with sunshades. There is possibility to play pétanque/jeux de boules. You can walk to the village (5 minutes) where there is a bakery, a little grocery, a nice restaurant and a crêperie/pancake-house. The village Chassiers organises various activities in summer.
