Tignes ski apartment for skiers and snowboarders - Rhone-Alpes ski chalet France

This is a luxury studio apartment ( 30 sq.m ) sleeping up to four people. It is on the 2nd floor of a purpose-built block which is serviced by 3 new high speed lifts. The studio has recently been renovated to provide attractive and comfortable accommodation.

Tignes is part of the Espace Killy - a huge ski area linking Val d'Isere and Tignes. It is ideal for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Intermediates and advanced skiers are spoilt for choice whilst beinners are well catered for as there are learning areas in the centr5e of the village and there is also plenty of tuition available including special classes for toddlers. The studio is in Tignes le Lavachet which has its own supermarket, bakery plus ski shops, bars and restaurants. A two minute walk takes you either to the frequent and free bus stop. These buses connect you with the other parts of the area - Tignes le Lac and Tignes Val Claret. Alternatively, from the bus stop you can ski down to the lifts and in the evening you can ski back to the door of the block. In summer there are plenty of interesting walks and Val Claret has a golf course. The Grande Motte provides skiing not only during the winter but also in the summer from June to October.

The living area is very light and has a large sofa-bed (which can either be used as a queen-size double or two single beds), a two-seater sofa, an adjustable reading lamp and a large cupboard for clothes storage. There is a dining area with table and four chairs and a well-equipped kitchenette. In the hallway - which can be shut off from the main living area - are two adult bunk beds plus a wardrobe and further clothes storage. The bathroom is fully tiled with a bath/shower and a basin. There is a separate toilet.

Outside Area:On the ground floor is a heated ski room where the studio has its own high security locker for skis and boots. Car parking is not allowed in the village during the months of December - May and cars left outside will be towed away. There is space to park outside the block whilst unloading and there is a covered car park about 50 metres away. Advance booking is strongly advised.
