Deliana holiday villa rental - Wonderfull home in Crete, Greek Islands

The historical, aristocratic house 'Anagnostis' surrounded by olive groves is situated in the beautiful village of Deliana, 15 min. from the sandy beaches and 30 min. from the town of Chania. This house has been in the hands of the Anagnostis family for four generations. This family built the house with the finest material of that period and the descendants have kept up this tradition. Today the house combines the ambient of the past with the modern facilities of today.

If you are looking to 'switch off' for a few days or weeks, recharge batteries, witness nature and find inner peace, this is the place for you. The village of Deliana on the western part of the island of Crete, 35 km from Hania, only a 40- minute drive from the city and you are in your private garden of Eden. Nearby there is a beautiful gorge where one can go hiking and enjoy the wild unspoilt cretan nature. The village offers 3 tavernas and one cafenion. Even Greek people from Hania, come on the weekends to enjoy the tasty dishes the owners offer. Our guests enjoy the warm and special care of Pagona, our maid. She knows, how to take care of the guests and make them feel at home. Ask for the weather in Crete, every January, during approximately the last 14 days of the month, we have very warm weather, about 20 - 25 degree celcius. It seems, like spring has already started. We call this the 'powerful' days of the winter. Our satisfied clientel is our best advertising.

Rental notes: Rates are for the complete villa and up to 6 person. Additional person, 160 Euro/week Final cleaning: 150 Euro Maid service twice weekly. Linen, towels and pool towels are provided.

The historic and aristoratic villa was built in 1886 and beautifully renovated in 2006/07. Today the house combines different syles, personal treasures, inherited pieces and hand-metowns from friends. The house offers family accommodation for 4-9 persons in 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The central and welcoming diningroom reflects its focus in family life. The house is filled with evidence of the familys adventure spirit and love of their beautiful island and its history. Photographs and handmade curtains cover the surface in the 4m high livingroom. From the separate gound floor apartment with its two bedrooms and bathroom, you can step out into the garden with pool area.

Outside Area:A vast chestnut tree shades the front of the terrace overlooking the peaceful valley. The house offers 1500m2 of wonderful surroundings, a from curious eyes protected garden, its pool area with 50m2 pool, plenty of trees, such as lemon, orange, nuts, kivis, jasmine, which create shade during the warm summer month. Days are spent by the pool or visiting one of the unspoiled white sandy beaches like Falassarna, potteries, winerys or just enjoy nature and try one of the freshiest and healthiest cuisine in Greece. Any special requests such as a midnight massage or a romantic dinner in your house can be easily arranged.
