Vale Formoso self catering villa in Portugal - Algarve holiday home rental

Spacious and charming villa with internal space of over 300 sq metres, suitable for up to 8 adults and 2 children. In summer there is an additional 5th bedroom available (on request) making the villa suitable for upto 10 adults + children. The villa is fully air conditioned with a sunny south facing private pool with child friendly single depth of 1.70m and extensive landscaped gardens. Casa Jacaranda has 4 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one double bedroom on the ground floor and an one upstairs twin bedroom (second available on request). SKY TV programs (free view), charcoal BBQ and extensive shady area pool side for alfresco dining. The villa boasts over 1 500 square metres of terraced area and large landscaped garden of various trees and flowers. There is a long sweeping driveway from the automatic gates of the property to Casa Jacaranda's front door. For the children there is a lovely pool that is 1.70 metres deep : a great pool area where you can also have a fun volleyball game. From the large upstairs terrace there is a wonderful view over pine trees and towards the coastline and ocean. Casa Jacaranda is the perfect villa for your family, children and friends. The sunny entrance leads you to 2 double bedrooms, one is en-suite. On the ground floor there is also a spacious living and dining room, kitchen, bathroom, utility room with access to the garden. The spilt level lounge room is very light and spacious with several sofas up to 7 seats, TV cabinet with DVD player and fire place. The room is tastefully furnished and has plenty of space for everyone to relax, in the dining area there is seating for 8 people, also with sliding patio doors leading out to the pool area and garden. From the living room there are two more sliding windows opening onto garden and pool area. Two of the double bedrooms have en suite bathroom plus dressing area, one on the first floor and another one on the ground floor.

Views:All the bedrooms benefit from overlooking the gardens or beautiful terraced areas which are ideal for sunbathing.

In the villa is a well-stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices. Before departure for your holiday we provide an e-book with lots of information about the Algarve and Golden Triangle so you start planning your holiday. The local area has a huge variety of activities to interest the whole family. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, champagne cruises, shark & dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and cultural visits. In Almancil there is a karting track if you need to burn off that adrenalin. There is also an Aqua Park (10 mins drive on the other side of Quarteira) and a Swim with Dolphins experience and Theme Park (30 mins drive on the motorway - Zoomarine). Faro town is a 15 minute drive. There is a large shopping centre (the Forum Algarve Shopping) that offers good facilities for supermarket and retail shopping. Faro Old Town has an interesting history and several historic landmarks worth investigating. There is a lovely harbour with restaurants dotted about. In Almancil (5 min drive) is a beautiful church with wonderful mosaics that is open to the public. Quarteira & Loulé both boast excellent markets that sell both fresh produce and local made products. Within a couple of hundred metres walk in the local village of Vale Formoso you will find a one Star Michelin Guide Restaurant: “Henrique Leis” with international, french and author kitchen, or even “A Quinta” restaurant.

Rental notes: For low and mid-season rentals securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. For high and peak season rentals the deposit required is 25%. All deposits are non-refundable. All rentals - the balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of €300 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition. The quoted rates include maid service with change of bed sheets & towels after 7 nights. Welcome basket is included in the rental price. The rental includes preparation of the villa also cleaning on departure and heating and/or air conditioning. All bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. Cancellation refunds: Up to 8 weeks - loss of deposit 4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded 2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded Less than 2 weeks - no refund Sorry but this property is not available for groups of young adults. The property is strictly non-smoking. If you rent only 1, 2, 3, 4 bedrooms the remaining bedrooms will be locked. You are still renting the entire villa but not all the bedrooms/bathrooms. You will have access to all the other rooms in the villa. The nightly rate is low season is based on 2 adults sharing 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The villa sleeps up to 8 adults + 2 children. The additional beds can only be provided for children or babies. Or in summer if you rent the 5th bedroom we can accomodate 10 adults + 2 children. We have tried to think of everything that you would need or want for a luxurious holiday. There are many extras that have been included in the villa - plasma TV Freeview satelite, stereo & CDs, DVD player, movies, lots of board games even books and magazines. Upstairs bedrooms have their own access to the terrace via sliding doors. Breakfast in the morning can be taken on your balcony or by the pool. Enjoy a freshly made coffee and take in the views. The villa is also regularly restocked the little things like tea, coffee, toilet paper and general food items. You will find shampoo and hair care products, bath and toilet soap, first aid kit and even washing powder. As an added extra all the bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided for you while on holiday. For the children there is a selection of toys and pool/garden toys to keep them entertained. During your stay if you have any problems or require assistance we are on-hand to help. We can help you with anything you need, from changing a light bulb to medical assistance if required. This ensures everything about your holiday will go smoothly. In charge of domestic services is Ana who will ensure your stay is like being in a 5 * Hotel. Ana will organise your maid service. We can also organise babysitting for you - if you fancy a few nights sampling the restaurants that surround the villa and are within walking distance.

Outside Area:The rectangular shaped pool with 3 integrated steps into the pool is surrounded by extensive terrace and paved area. There is a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs to enjoy al-fresco dining in the warm evenings. The massive garden has a lovely lawn area and flowering shrubs. The entire property is fenced and completely secure for the little ones to go for a wander and there are plenty of toys for them to play with. No wheelchair access.
