Vacation rental house near Lucca - Traditional Tuscan house, Italy

Welcome to Casa Roberti, a Traditional Tuscan house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping up to 10 people. Situated above the pretty villages of Coselli and San Lorenzo a Vacoli, immersed in beautiful woodlands between Lucca and Pisa. Totally secluded and private yet only 10 minutes from Lucca and 20 minutes from Pisa airport. The house sits in the lea of a hill with beautiful pinewood views towards Lucca and beyond, totally tranquil with only the sounds of birdsong and the gentle bubbling stream nearby. Reached by a 2Km pine flanked "white"(Gravel) road up through the woods Casa Roberti has good access, although the road is a little bumpy and bendy it is accessible in most types of vehicle and you can drive to the door. The house itself sits in 4 hectares of olive groves, gardens and woodland, we also have a small stream running through the land and a small natural pond nestling in the shady woods next to the small bridge crossing the stream. The area immediately surrounding the house has miles of roads and tracks, ideal for walking, hiking and mountain biking with marked walks and cycle routes. Outside the house there is a gravelled driveway to the door and a good area of flat land to the front and side, with pretty potted Jasmine, oranges, lemons and many other colourful plants. There is a barbeque, dining table and benches, sun loungers and a parasol. For fun there is a small above ground swimming pool and also a large trampoline for exclusive use.

Casa Roberti is located on the Monte Pisani Hills that stretch between Pisa and Lucca. Only 10 minutes drive from the Lucca walls, 20 minutes from Pisa and the airport, 30 minutes from the seaside and 1 hour from Florence. We are ideally located for easy access to most of Tuscany, the nearest motorway junction is only about 7 minutes drive, the nearest railway station is in Lucca and the nearest port is an hour away at Livorno. Just down the hill in Coselli, (6 mins Drive) there is a newsagents, take away pizza shop, butchers, hairdressers, barbers, dry cleaners and 2 bars (one very local and one new and modern) there is also a new Enoteca (cheese and wine shop) which sells a wide selection of interesting varieties which you can try on the premises. There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute drive, one a five star. There are also a number of bars and a great home made ice cream parlour just down the road. The nearest Post Office is in Guamo (open all day) and has an ATM.

Rental notes: Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for up to 10 people. The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Payment can be made either by cheque or bank transfer in Pounds sterling or Euros. Casa Roberti is available from the beginning of April until the end of September.

Entrance to reception room ith bookcase, seats, piano and desk. Through to the fully fitted kitchen with large oven with 5 ring hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of pots and cutlery for you to create your traditional Italian cuisine, a selection of cookery books is also provided. In the kitchen there is also a large farmhouse style dining suite seating 10. There is also a fireplace with large wood burning stove. Through to small utility area wth cupboard, bathroom 1 with WC, basin and large fully tiled shower, hairdryer. Off the reception room is the cosy living room, with large 3 piece suite seating 8, TV, video and DVD players, stereo, with a selection of DVDs and CDs and a digibox. There is also a fireplace with wood burning stove. Stairs leading from the reception room take you to the spacious bedrooms and bathroom 2. Bedroom 1 has a king sized iron bed, bedside drawers with lamps, dressing table and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has a King sized brass bed, bedside cabinets with lamps, dressing table and wardrobe. Bedroom 3 has a King Sized iron bed and single pine bed, 3 sets of draws wardrobe, bedside lamps. Bedroom 4 leads up stairs from bedroom 3, has 3 single iron beds large bedside storage cupboard with a large selection of board games and 2 sets of draws with lamps Bathroom 2 has a shower cubicle, WC, bidet, basin, large wall cupboard with lights and shaver socket, hairdryer. All rooms have wonderful woodland views and all windows have mosquito nets.

Outside Area:Casa Roberti has good access to the door with pretty potted plants, beautiful fragrant jasmine and summer colour. There is plenty of room to play or just to sit and soak up the sun, views and peacefulness. There is a small above ground swimming pool and a large trampoline for young and old alike We have a bbq, plenty of seating outside and shade provided by a parasol . If you like walking there are miles of tracks, a cave and a ruin nearby to explore.
