Fabbrica gite rental near Pistoia - Tuscany holiday gite

The house takes on the name "L'Ortensia" because of the Hydranges that have been planted in the front and back garden by its owner. It is the first house situated at the top of a little ancient village on the hills (400 mt altitude) and has also been recently restored and brought to it's original splendour - quaint and earthy. It is a two storeys house, fitted out for five persons. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, a single sofa bed and the bathroom. Downstairs: the second bedroom with double sofa-bed where one can also relax and watch TV; adjacent to it, there is a large living room with a kitchenette furnished with an oven, frig, freezer and dish-washer. There is an indipendent heating system and a typical grey-stone fire place. In summer, there is also a swimming-pool, located a few meters far from the house. 30 km distance from Florence, 7 from Pistoia, 50 from Lucca, 60 from Pisa and Versilia's seaside, 80 from Siena.

The village of Fabbrica, where the gite is located, has Roman origins and there is also an ancient church. It is a very calm place, with only 23 houses, recently restored; in the woods, you can walk and use mountain-bike, so it is an ideal place to relax. At 7 km there is the medieval town of Pistoia, which is famous for its ancient churches and for its city centre. On the first week of July, in this town there is a very famous Blues Festival. 15 km far from Fabbrica there are Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme, with famous termal establishments and Spas. 60 km far there are Abetone Mountains and Versilia seaside (Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi).

Both gardens allow one to enjoy the fantastic relaxation and to admire the wonderful Tuscan landscape. A few meter far from the house there is also a panoramic swimming-pool.
