The two bedroom (on requested available third bedroom and in winter, from November to March, only one bedroom apartment) Azalea is situated near to Hotel Britania Excelsior and the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia in Griante Cadenabbia, a little urban agglomerated founded by the Celts in the 500 B. C. in a residential area in the centre and on the shores of Lake Como area that is frequented by stylists as Versace and celebrities as George Clooney, Nurlan Kapparov, Richard Branson,Rupert Murdock and Michael O' Leary. Recently restructured it consists of 3/4(3 adults or 2 adults more 2 children) bed places with transformable sofa; it has a wonderful lake view on Villa Melzi in Bellagio and the Alps toward Varenna. Consisting of satellite on flat screen TV (on SKY TV: all the games of football Live. Internet access (on demand also wireless), CD player with endowment of classical and jazz music, a little bathroom with playpen shower, stove heated by "pellet" for winter stays and private parking very close to the apartment. Azalea House is located at Tremezzina, famous central Lake Como area, just close to some Villas with beautiful gardens. We talk about Villa Carlotta at Tremezzo, Villa La Collina second home in the past of Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and Villa Balbianello at Lenno, the stage of Star Wars movie by George Lucas.

Azalea House is a magnificent apartment located on second floor in stone and old building.It has a spectacular balcony with wonderful lake view ,where you find a table with four chairs and two sun chairs to eat out. Azalea has two bedroom but we can give also third bedroom with an over rental price.(The apartment becames only one bedroom in winter for heating problems.) Usually it is suitable for 3/5 people ( included children). At this moment Azalea House has two bathrooms, both with shower and WC and first with washing machine also. Of course it has a private parking with barbecue area, included in the rental price. I suggest you to rent it because it is fantastic and very well positioned to explore all the central Lake Como area , connected to Bellagio, Varenna and Como City by ferry boat or fast hydrofoil. Outside Area:About Lake Como Como Towns & Villages Cadenabbia/Griante Cadenabbia & Griante Cadenabbia which joins onto Griante is a small residential village on the western branch of Lake Como, Italy situated on the slopes of Mount Crocione and gradually levels out approximately 50 metres from the shores of the Lake Como. It is in the central zone of the lake opposite the headland of Bellagio with the magestic Grigne range of mountains (Dolomites) in the background. The mild climate and the tranquillity of the village attracted many people through the ages with many villas being built between the 17th-19th century: Villa Margherita owned by a family of editors Ricordi, Villa Collina that accommodated the chancellor Konrad Adenauer for over 20 years, Villa Giuseppina, Villa Norella and Villa Carlotta (in the community of Tremezzo) the gardens of which extend for the majority over the community of Griante. Over the years, Griante accommodated many famous people; Giuseppe Verdi who composed the beautiful aria of the Traviata in peace and quiet of Villa Ricordo (Villa Margherita). Stendhal spent a great deal of time here composing many of his masterpieces including the Chartreuse de Parme. This small village became so popular that it even attracted royalty; Queen Victoria, Nicholas II of Russia, the Kaiser Guglielmo II, Prince Umberto di Savoia (before becoming the last king of Italy), Pope Pio XI. There are some lovely walks from Griante one of which is up to the San Martino church (which dates from the 16th century). Although this walk is quite steep in parts, there is a path to follow and it is certainly worthwhile for the fantastic views across the lake. CADENABBIA is the fraction of the community of Griante.
