An ancient building from the Middle Ages, dry and cozy, sleeps 4 adults and 2 or more children. Completely furnished, bathroom with tub. From here you can easily drive anywhere in the valley to visit, to walk (even a lot of paths directly from here), Preit and our restaurant, sauna and bar are only 3 km away, but you can just walk to the nearest shop and bar if you wish to stay independent. Floor Area:ground floor

The area is the beautiful valle Maira, 50 km from Cuneo and 120 from Turin or NIce airport. Visit the famous Occitanian paths in the summer or come for a full immersion week of ski touring or snow shoeing in winter. Canosio also has a small ski lift but it is generally open on weekends only. Visit the Gardetta plateau and the dynosaur prints, the wild flora and fauna, see marmots and wild goats. Come to learn about the Occitanian history, visit ELva and Chiappera. Also very close to Marmora and its hamlets with genepy (artemisia) cultivations, small lakes to reach on foot or by car Valle Maira is a way of relishing the Cottian Alps and enjoy peace and quiet. Canosio offers some events in the summer at night, the apartment is part of a very quiet small house situated east-south-west to enjoy sunny views all day. However it is cool inside because the walls are really thick being so ancient. Rental for weeks only. Self catering. The absolutely perfect place for mountain bikes!

Rental notes: The rent is weekly independently from the number of people. Payment shall be made through a bank account or through credit card and an invoice will be issued. Paypal payment is possible but at an extra 3%. The whole payment shall be made upfront or completed on day of arrival. Beautiful apartment in a very small and quiet ancient stone house in Canosio, high Maira valley, in the Italian Cottian Alps. A kitchen with gas cooking facilities, electric oven, microwave and refrigerator. Washing machine. Two beautiful bedrooms with wooden flooring, and a bathroom with tub. One bedroom has a double bed and a small one can be added. THe other room has two single beds which can be made into a duble one. In the kitchen a third double bed is available. You can bring your children in safety and they can also play outside. A table with chairs is provided on the terrace. An external room is provided (and locked) for your skis or mountain bikes. Linen and towels are provided extra upon request.

Outside Area:Canosio is an ancient mountain village. Here you have a parking space, a garden if you wish to stay longer and cultivate it. You can walk to the sports area with volley and tennis court. Bowlingareas. You can as well walk to the nearing campsite where you will find a shop, evening entertainmet and a snack bar. Our packages include during the summer and winter periods the possibility of shuttle service to Preit and 10% discount in our restaurant and bar in Preit only 3 km away. Sauna and massages are available at our centre in Preit. You can walk up along the road and it is a starting point of several beautiful trekking tours. You will have a room for storing your mountain bikes and skis. Nature and silence for a peaceful regenerating holidy with or without sports.
