Gite Alexandre is 20mins north of the beautiful city of Pau. It sleeps 4 but has a pull out sofa bed in the Lounge to sleep 6. As you enter the gite it has a large lounge downstairs loo kitchen/dinning room. It has 1 double & 1 twin both having en-suite shower & toilets. It has it's own private parking & garden you have use of the swimming pool & pool house to relax & soak up the sun. It is also a great place to experience the adventure and relaxation of motorbike touring from a perfect base in South West France at the foot of the beautiful Pyrenees, close to the circuits of Pau Arnos and Nogaro for your pre-booked track days. Your hosts (who are keen bikers, like you!) will help you choose the right tours for you and keep you well fed and entertained, or you can choose to relax and explore on your own. Gite Alexandre is situated in a great wine growing area & is close to many vineyards. To the South of Pau you have the wines of Jurançon & to the North of Pau you have the wines of Madarin & Pacherence du Vic Bilh. We are 1hr 30 from the Atlantic coast for Biarritz & Hossegor which has great beaches to stroll along & chill out. If you are interested it is also a great place for surfing. If you are after the Med then Narbonne-Plage is approximately 3hrs 45.

Gite Alexandre is just 20 minutes ride north from the beautiful city of Pau in the village of Simacourbe. We are 30 minutes from Lourdes, 1hr 30 from Biarritz and 1hr 45 from Spain. Le Havre is 560 miles, Santander is 234 miles and Bilbao is 176 miles away. We are also 2 hrs 20 minutes from Toulouse, 2hrs 40 from Bordeaux and 3 hrs from Bergerac. The Pyrenees National Park is spread over 46,000 hectares and represents more than 100km of high mountains separating France and Spain. There are 350km of sign posted trails and offers all the best in walking, fantastic scenery, good weather and variety for all.

Rental notes: We prefer Saturday changeovers however should you wish to arrive on a different day then please ask & we can advise you the cost of the Gite as a supplement will be payable. To book 25% of the full amount is required as deposit which is non-refundable. Balance due 8 weeks before start of rental period. We require a secuirity deposit of £200/200euros which will be refunded within 2 weeks of the end of your stay. In the event of cancellation, refunds can only be made if the property is re-let therefore we advise customers to have insurance to cover this. Towels & linen are included in the price & a welcome pack of Tea Coffee etc is also included. PLEASE NOTE FOR RENTALS NOVEMBER - APRIL THERE IS A SUPPLEMENT PAYABLE FOR THE ELECTRICITY.

Gite Alexandre has been awarded 3 stars by the Department of Tourism. It consists of a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, sitting room with television. Upstairs there is one double and one twin each having their own en-suite shower and toilet.

Outside Area:Gite Alexandre shares the drive way with the owners but has it's own parking & private garden with BQ.
