We are Silvia and Helmut, the owners of Cocos Cabanas. We welcome you to our rental house and hope you choose to spend your next holiday with us. Our accommodations include 6 cozy cabanas, also known as palapas or bungalows. We pride ourselves on giving a personal and unique experience, much different from large resorts on the Riviera Maya. Coco's Cabanas is located just 100 feet off the beautiful RIVIERA MAYA coastline. The photograph is taken right at this spot to give you an idea of the beauty and easy going lifestyle along our beach. The sand is very clean and the swimming is perfect here all year long! The gulf water temperature stays warm all year, so you will enjoy a swim here even through the winter months! Take a stroll along the beach and you can even take a short hike south and land directly in Playa del Carmen. Coco's Cabanas is centrally-located in the Yucatan peninsula, surrounded by many special touristic places, including: Mayan Ruins - There are several spectacular Mayan ruin sites nearby. Sites include: Chichen Itza, Dzibilchaltun, Ek Balam, Kohunlich, Dzibanche and Oxtankah, Mayapan, Muyil, Tulum, Uxmal, and Xel-Ha (ruins are part of the Xel-Ha Lagoon eco-park). Adventure Parks - How about a jungle safari? Or see the jungle floor by taking a zip-line tour? There are several adventure parks nearby that will give you plenty of options to experience our tropical landscape. Water Activities - Take a day journey on a catamaran, or do some snorkeling out of a glass-bottom boat. Maybe you prefer a romantic evening cruise? Why not go swimming with dolphins?! Or would you like to catch your dinner by going deep sea fishing? Sportsmen will have plenty of opportunities to go kayaking, scuba diving or even cliff diving. You can even go exploring coral reefs in a submarine!

Coco's Cabanas is a cozy hideaway amongst a Mexican gulf coastline full of impersonal large resorts. We have only 6 private bungalows (also known as cabanas or palapas), each with cute palm-thatched roofs. Four of the bungalows have queen-sized beds, one has a king-sized bed. All bungalows have full bathrooms, closets and comforting roof fans. All bungalows have hot water and 110v electrical outlets. FREE INTERNET ACCESS IN THE RESTAURANT AND POOL AREA!! All bungalows include free continental breakfast. Our restaurant/pizzeria has become as well known as our cabanas. Our menu offerings are influenced by both European and Mexican cuisines. We always use the freshest ingredients possible to guarantee our customers are satisfied and will return to us on a regular basis. Our tasty menu creations are developed by Helmut (Swiss-born) and Silvia (from the Yucatan), and the combination of their cultures has produced delicious results! Some of our popular dishes include homemade guacamole, fresh whole fried fish, grilled lobster and steak, and the best pizzas in North America (made in our wood-burning oven), and to top it off we have lucious desserts, guaranteed to satisfy the most-discriminating sweet tooths!
