We are a small family run business who care about the holidays that you have. We provide modern accommodation whilst reflecting the character of the property. Cobblers Cottage was originally a workshop for a cobbler's shop which was on the High Street in Pateley Bridge. We have now converted it into up to date, modern accomodation whilst retaining the 'cottagey' feel of the property. It is often the thoughtful 'little' additions to your holiday experience that make it more special. We provide wine and chocolates, dressing gown and slippers (for each adult in the party), a selection of teas, hot chocolate, coffee and biscuits, and a selection of toiletries. Add to this the superb surrounding countryside which appeals to walkers, cyclists and relaxers and you have the perfect break. We provide short breaks (long weekend and midweek) and full weeks.

Cobblers Cottage is a stone built 2 bedroomed property situated centrally in Pateley Bridge in the heart of Nidderdale (an area of outstanding beauty). The cottage is situated in a quiet historic courtyard setting just off the main High Street in Pateley Bridge. Escape to the peaceful, natural beauty of Pateley Bridge in the heart of stunning scenery in Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The peaceful setting of Pateley Bridge has provided inspiration for artists, writers and film and television productions. The winding High Street is packed with a variety of small, specialist shops (one being the oldest sweet shop in the country) There are quality craft centres, charming pubs and country tea-rooms. The Nidderdale Museum has relics and artefacts chronicling a Yorkshire way of life of years gone by. A special plaque in Pateley Bridge High Street marks the start and finish of the Nidderdale Way, a circular route of some 53 miles that loops around each side of the Nidd Valley, taking in some of the most spectacular landscapes in the area. Pateley Bridge is the perfect start and stopping point for walkers and cyclists Surrounding attractions include How Stean Gorge, known as ‘Yorkshires Little Switzerland’, Stump Cross Caverns, Brimham Rocks, Black Sheep and Theakston breweries in Masham, Fountains Abbey and Bolton Abbey with Ripon and Harrogate being easily accessible.

Rental notes: Pets are accepted and are charged at 15 GBP per pet per week/ part week. Pets are accepted on the understanding that you agree to clear up after them. Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms or to be left alone in the property.

The property has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has bunk beds, the lower bed is double size which is only accessible from one side. The newly fitted bathroom contains a whirlpool bath with integrated hand held shower and walk in monsoon shower with massage jets and hand held shower wand. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances (dishwasher, washer/ drier, integrated oven and hob, fridge freezer and microwave oven) with dining area. The property has central heating and a wood burning stove in the newly renovated fireplace. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided for each adult in the party. A selection of videos, dvds, books and games are provided for your enjoyment.

Outside Area:At the rear of the property there is a small courtyard and seating area.
