Chaika Beach is situated just 14km from Varna city centre on the northern Black Sea coast. It is just 4km from the much bigger (and more pricey) Golden Sands resort. There are frequent bus services and plentiful taxis available locally, and we can recommend a particular driver who offers great prices, speaks good English, and will take you anywhere with courtesy and a smile. Chaika beach is about 2km long, and there are 11 permanent restaurants / cafes / bars along its length, in addition to which in high season arrive several imaginatively themed beach bars to cater for all food and drink needs. Varna city has too many sights to list, including an exhibit of the world's oldest worked gold in the archaeological museum. The rock monastery of Aladja is also a must-see, 12 minutes by taxi.

A security bond of 100 euros is payable to our manager on arrival. Airport transfers extra 8 euros (approx £7) on arrival and departure.

The apartment has a large and airy open-plan living/dining area with a fully fitted kitchen at one end and floor-to-ceiling windows with blinds and drapes. The air-conditioned lounge area contains two comfortable large sofas which easily convert into beds, and a satellite tv. The balcony leads off. The dining area consists of a large real beech wood table and four matching chairs. The kitchen includes a washing machine, a 4 ring ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and everything you will need for preparing meals and drinks during your stay. The separate bedroom (with its own air conditioning) has two luxurious pocket-sprung beds which can be used together or separately, storage, laminate floor, and a sea-view. The balcony leads off. The fully-tiled shower room is clean and bright with the usual facilities. There is also a corridor where you can hang your outdoor clothes and bags and check your appearance before you hit the beach! A cot can be provided by request.

Outside Area:The Black Sea is on your doorstep! Just a small service road (dead-end) separates the apartment building from the sand. Behind the building is a pleasant hillside with a mixture of private houses with gardens, and apartment buildings. A lifeguard service operates on the beach in the summer season. There are showers on the beach, and a First Aid station about 200 metres away. Lots of restaurants to choose from, with top quality food and drink at reasonable prices and friendly service, even in English.
