La Casa del Puente in Valle de Soba - Hotel and bed and breakfast in Cantabria

Bridge House is a rural property in 1850, renovated and decorated in rustic style with modern charm. It is bordered by the river Gándara, you can enjoy the spacious terraces on it. We have 4 apartments each with a capacity of up to 6 +2 people and 5 double rooms and family. All our rooms have superb views. We offer free use of spa area with Jacuzzi and sauna, friendly restaurant specializing in lamb skewers on the grill, café with terrace facing south.

Bridge House is located in the Valle de Soba, in the heart of Cantabria. Only 10 kilometers from the Parque Natural de los Collados del Ason, and the lovely countryside. Built at the foot of the Gandara River, one of the largest rivers of Cantabria, which flows into the river known Assos with 50 meters waterfall. It is a privileged setting where you can enjoy breathtaking Cantabrian oak forests, oak and beech. Historic cottages and meadows, as well as feel and experience the strong tradition soban popular culture. This area of Cantabria has more than 4500 caves, making it a paradise for lovers of caving. Activities such as climbing or hiking are also an attractive area in which we are, so much so that there is a free guided tours and interpreted by the Parque Natural de los Collados del Ason, to help you know and appreciate the natural wealth Valley High Assos. Thanks to our location, you can enjoy the wonderful beaches of Cantabria, since we are only half an hour from the beaches of Santoña and Laredo, or if you prefer, you can enjoy the beach Sardinero o Magdalena in regional capital, Santander, with only 1 hour away.

Rental notes: The prices are quoted from 40 euro/night to 90 euro/night, depending from room and season. Please enquire the price of room or apartment you wish to rent. Spa: All the guests may use the Jacuzzi and sauna at no charge. Areas: Living room, reception room with cafeteria chairs and private patio on river. Café and restaurant with terrace. Designated areas for barbecues hosted free.

Spring room (2 persons) - Bright double room with two balconies on the Rio Gandara. Decorated in a rustic style, with floral decoration that extends to upholstered furniture. It has a spacious bathroom with a corner bath. Puerto de Lunada Suite (up to 5 people) - Spacious family suite features a large window that gives a good light. Includes master bedroom with kingsize bed (1.80 x 2m), a second bedroom with double bed, third bedroom with single bed, reading area with a desk, and bathroom. All bedrooms have balcony on the Rio Gandara. Picon del Fraile Suite (4 persons) - Lovely suite has large master bedroom with kingsize bed (1.80 x 2m), a second bedroom with 2 single beds, reading area with a desk, and bathroom. Thanks to large windows and two balconies, this suite enjoys lovely views of the mountains and river. Villasuso Suite (4 people) - Beautiful suite with large windows overlooking the river and mountains that also gives a good light and a feeling of space and tranquility. It has a large master bedroom with kingsize bed (1.80 x 2m), a spacious second bedroom with 2 single beds, reading area with a desk, and bathroom. Decorated in an attractive and pleasant rustic style. The Brenia Room (2 persons)- Small double room.
