Polis vacation villa for rent - Luxurious secluded home in Paphos, Cyprus

The villa is idyllically situated within a pretty garden on the hillside overlooking a beautiful valley, hills and sea at Polis. The views are even better from the terrace upstairs. This house has been built using traditional stone throughout which keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter, and wooden beams and shutters. It is spacious and furnished to a high standard. 2 of the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs so may be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The colour changing lighting in the private pool is a popular feature. The lovely terrace gets welcome shade and a light breeze during the heat of the day. Here you can enjoy meals, lounge around and relax, whilst observing the stunning colour changes of your beautiful unobstructed view in front. (I have tried to give an impression of this with our selection of photos) Reached via a lane leading from the village, the location of this tastefully furnished house is completely private and not overlooked. Rare birds frequent this area so take your binoculars!

Views:Rural and sea

Simou has a bit of something for every one. Peace and quiet, a superb location being both close to nature and at the same time within easy distance of all amenities, magnificent sights and breathtaking views. Drymou is this villages so called sister village. There is one restaurant in Simou, one supermarket and three coffee shops. The coffee shops are all located in the cozy village centre. There is a village nursery catering for 3-6 year olds and an infants' school for the 6-12 years olds. After that, the nearest secondary school is in Polemi. The closest police station is a short drive away in Stroumbi and you will find the nearest hospital in the town of Polis. However, a doctor does visit the village every week on Fridays. Just outside the village one can enjoy a well known sport, fishing at the Evretou Dam. For those who do not enjoy participating, the option of spectating is always an alternative. Walking, hiking and cycling are also options.
