The Dordogne Valley region of South West France, where our self catering holiday homes are located, is an area of exquisite natural beauty with lots to offer it’s visitors all year round. The pleasant climate, with warm sunny days in Summer ( 25° to 35° C ) and crisp bright days in Winter, provides the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the varied delights of the region. Situated inland from Bordeaux and north of Toulouse the area is easily accessed, being well serviced by rail, motorways, and airports with daily connections to many British and European destinations, and worldwide via Paris. The river Dordogne and its tributary the Vézère meander lazily through the landscape of widely varying and spectacular scenery, ranging from lush Oak- wooded hillsides to softer undulating countryside rich with walnut groves, vineyards, and fields of corn and sunflowers. The rivers provide opportunities for canoeing, boat trips, fishing and bathing.

The sitting room has comfortable seating arranged around a lovely stone fireplace and French doors leading to the front lawn and pool area. There is a second large sitting/dining room which is also used as a games room with a selection of books and games available. A solid oak dining table seats 10 people. French doors lead to the garden, and table tennis area. a Fully fitted kitchen complete with oak dining table with seating for 8 people. 2 large double en-suite rooms, 1 twin with two standard double beds and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. All very comfortably furnished. One bathroom complete with bath/shower, One en-suite shower room. One en-suite bathroom with bath.

Outside Area:The house is in a peaceful setting, ideally located with Sarlat just 5km away. The town of Sarlat has shops, restaurants, famous Saturday market and street theatre during the Summer. The picturesque Dordogne valley is just minutes to the south. Located in 10 acres of wooded landscape in a tranquil setting with excellent opportunities for walks, bird watching and outdoor activities. The pool is 11m x 5m with roman steps and regulation safety fence. There is a large paved patio with a selection of furniture for sunbathing and relaxing. The Wisteria-clad house is built of stone and has a south facing aspect with three sets of French doors leading out onto the garden and pool area. Adjacent to the pool there is a changing room with shower and wash hand basin and a laundry room .
