The apartment is located in Via Borgo Vittorio, between St. Peter square and Castle San Angelo. All famous monuments in the historical centre are in walking distance. We are just down the road from “Porta Angelica”; entrance to the Vatican State, guarded by the Swiss Guards. The basilica of St. Peter is also very near (200m). Castel San Angelo is neither very far. You have to cros the bridge over the Tiber, in front of Castel San Angelo, to get to the barock part of Rome. Borgo Pio has many restaurants, Cafés and Pizzerias. The characteristic old houses and narrow alley-ways in Borgo Pio provide a near village atmosphere. Monuments like Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps are all in walking distance
