Holiday rental home in Altinkum - stylish, modern home in Aegean, Turkey

This fantastic 3 bedroom, 'quattro' style villa is situated on a sought after, privately managed complex, and has many great things to offer, including 2 amazing swimming pools, each with kid's paddling pools, tennis and basketball courts, kid's play area, 24 hour security. The beautiful Yesilkent beach is only a 3 minute walk away, where you can hire sunbeds, parasols, pedaloes, canoes, water-skiing. Local shop is equipped with all your essentials. The villa sleeps 6, 2 rooms with single beds (one with en suite), and master bedroom with a double bed (en suite). There is also a family bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Downstairs WC. All rooms lead out onto balconies and the master bedrooms has it's own roof-terrace, equipped with sun loungers. The kitchen is fully equipped and other luxuries include TV, DVD, many films. We have just purchased a pool table, which our guests are more than welcome to use. The villa is situated in a quiet area, so if its peace and quiet you are after, this villa is ideal. Saying that, you are only 10 minutes from the lively resort of Altinkum, so you can get the best of both worlds.

The complex is based in the beautiful village of Yesilkent and is in walking distance of 4 restaurants, each with their own character, offering a variety of great food and drink. Altinkum is an ideal base to explore the heritage and culture of Turkey, with such places as Ephesus and Pammukale being only a few hours away, and Apollos Temple, just a few minutes up the road. Other popular excursions include boat trips from the harbour, island trips, to Bodrum and Kos etc. There is an aqua park just north of Didim, with slides, beaches, pools etc, that can be reached by Dolmus. The golden sandy beaches of Altinkum are only a short distance away (the name Altinkum means gold sands). Altinkum benefits from three beach areas, all well maintained with sunbeds and parasols for hire. The compact town centre means that everything is within easy walking distance, with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and discos.

The villa is very stylish, modern and light and is really spacious. On the second floor is the master bedroom, that has fitted wardrobes, large king-size bed with side cabinets, dressing table and chair. Various lighting, air-conditioning, with its own large ensuite. The bedroom leads out onto a large 50m2 , private sun terrace giving you great views of the whole complex. Going down the winding marble staircase, to the first floor, you have a large landing with a linen cupboard. There is a large family, fully tiled bathroom, with a jacuzzi bath and shower. Next to this is a large bedroom with twin beds and bedside cabinet, free-standing wardrobes, air-conditioning and leading out to balcony. The third bedroom also has two twin beds with bedside cabinet and freestanding wardrobe and air-conditioning. This bedroom has it's own ensuite and also leads out to the first floor balcony. All balconies, and terraces have outside lighting and power. Carrying down the marble staircase to the ground floor, you will come to the open plan kitchen/diner/living room. By the front door, is a built-in cupboard, for all your jackets, hats and shoes etc. There is also a W/C. The kitchen is fully equipped. We have a large DVD collection, books and games. There are screens on all the windows and doors. Leading out onto the large sun terrace, you will find a large table and chairs, bbq and steps leading into the garden.
