Casa Frey is a renovated typical old stone house. The outside has been left untouched while inside it has been converted in more apartments. Frey 1 on the ground floor is a two-bedroom apartment sleeping up to 5 people. Frey 2 on 2 levels on the ground floor is a one bedroom apartment sleeping up to 4 people. Frey 3 on the first floor is a one-bedroom apartment sleeping 2 people. The house is situated at the edge of the little hamlet of Vacciago immersed in beautiful wooded countryside, though not isolated from other houses. Vacciago is a small paradise, where nature has been conserved. Peace is spread among the XVIII Century buildings and keeps alive the atmosphere of ancient times. Casa Frey is lovely, with heating for winter time and simple but confortable furniture, so it offers welcome hospitality through out the year.

About Lake Orta: Lake Orta, the ancient "Cusius" is an oasis of alpine greenery enriched with marvellous gardens and green meadows in a Mediterranean climate. Lake Orta really is a "man-sized lake" because, with a local writers words, it can "be embraced at a single glance". From the many balconies overlooking it, from one shore and from the other, Cusio offers the visitor the gift of a great, soft beauty which calls to contemplation, to the stopping of time in a place one would wish never to leave. But Lake Orta, with its un-doubtful tourist vocation, will also offer you any kind of amusements and sports lovers will also be able to practice all water sports (sailing, surfing, canoeing, water-skiing, etc.), horse-riding, golf and tennis. Eating out: This is such a delight in Italy, and Lake Orta is no exception. There is a wide range of pizzerias, trattorias and restaurants for varying pockets and tastes, starting about 500m from Casa Frey. Milan, the nearest major city is 80 km away, Lake Maggiore is 25 km away and Malpensa airport 45 km. Walks: There are many beautiful walks in the area. We provide a description of walks, excursions and one-day trips. About 100 yards from the house, the parish church of St. Antonio affords, from its grassy terrace, a fine view of Lake Orta with its enchanting island and the 13th century Torre di Buccione.

It is a spacious two bedroom apartment, sleeping up to 5 people on the ground floor, with direct access onto part of the garden reserved for the use of the apartment, with a garden table and chairs .The master bedroom has a double bed, with a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has single beds and its own small balcony. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher.
