We welcome you in the heart of Tremezzina, the pearl of Lake Como and a very well known holiday resort for Italian and International guests, to share with you the unique blend of nature, the stunning landscapes, the historical and cultural heritage, the popular and culinary traditions. We are in walking distance from the very well known Villa Carlotta, a touristic destination not to be missed with its garden-museum and art treasures (masterpieces by Canova, Hayez, Thorvaldsen). The heart of the Lake area offers several opportunities for entertainment and culture as the small towns of Menaggio, Lenno with its Villa Balbianello (property of FAI – the Italian National Trust), Gravedona with its Romanic and Medieval churches and its 16th-century palaces. Crossing the Lake with the public boat service, it is possible visiting the characteristic village of Varenna with the Castle of Vezio and the famous Villa Monastero; Bellano and its gothic church; Corenno Plinio with its beautiful 14th-century castle, up to Piona with his ancient abbey facing the small Lake of Piona. Several cultural and recreational activities are available in the surroundings of our apartment. Trekking on easy paths leading to mountain area and offering stunning landscapes and lake views, nordic walking, trips in mountain bike, ski, sailing and water sports are just a few examples of what’s available in this area. The town of Como is just at 25Km: it has Roman origins and all along the Middle Ages it had an important role in the relationships between North and South sides of the Alps. Como has important memories from each historical period: ruins from the Roman Age, Romanic Churches (S. Abbondio, S. Fedele, S. Carpoforo, S. Giacomo), the Gothic-Renaissance Cathedral. Most of the Villas facing the Lake around Como are from the Neoclassical period. A very important heritage of the 20th-century art is represented by the Rationalist buildings, with the masterpieces by Giuseppe Terragni. Very close to our apartment, the cosmopolitan towns of Lugano (30Km), Campione d’Italia and its Casino (40Km), St. Moritz and the Engadina Swiss Region. For ski fans, we are at 90 minutes driving distance from the ski resorts in Valchiavenna. Ample choice of typical Italian restaurants in the whole area.

Rental notes: A cash deposit of 100 EUR to cover damages is collected at the arrival and returned at the check-out. This is in addition to the price agreed for the rental.

The apartment is fully equipped and recently renewed; all the furniture is brand new. The apartment includes a large living room with four windows and terrace with lake view, two sleeping bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The living room is set with TV, sofa, relax corner and has a dining table accommodating up to eight guests. Sleeping Room A - two twin beds (a third one is available on request). Ample wardrobe. Sleeping Room B - double bed. Ample wardrobe.

Outside Area:This unit is situated at the first floor of a small building, surrounded by a private garden. A reserved and safe car park for our guests is available in the back yard.
