Fishing, walking, biking, water sports and horse riding can all be done practically on your doorstep, we are based in the country with no immediate neighbours and yet only 5 minutes to the lovely Flower village of St.Aignan, where you can buy your fresh baguettes, have a drink in the bar and a super meal in the Pecherie restaurant, Or why not let us have a meal ready for you in the comfort of your gite ! We have 4 acres of our own with various fruit trees, in season you can pick your own apples, chestnuts and walnuts! We have lots of wildlife in the area too; fox, hare, deer, wild boar (though you’d be very lucky to see one as they are very shy), salamanders, bats, owls and woodpeckers are all here, plus much more!! Well behaved dogs are welcome to share your holiday We live on site and so can help to make your holiday a memorable one; we can even arrange French lessons for you!! Intensive or more relaxed during a forest stroll. There’s lot’s to do and see in the area, I could fill pages, But best if you come and see for yourselves, we’ll make you as welcome as the locals do.

The river Blavet and the Nantes-Brest canal run through the village and can be walked or cycled for miles. A good stop point is Pontivy for a drink in a café bar, or if you prefer a shorter distance head in the opposite direction, 10 minutes from Kerlun to Abbey Bon Repos. The abbey is in a lovely setting and has lovely walks and a fairytale bar. There are great motorcycling roads around us and we can give you some great idea charts to do your own thing or take you on lead rides. Mur-De-Bretagne is our closest supermarket and petrol station 10 minutes by car. From here you can sign up for activities on the lake, go horse riding, sun yourself on a beach or cycle the disused railway line, a real nature trail. Friday evening is market time with live bands playing traditional music and the locals Breton dancing. Pontivy is only 20 minutes away and has various supermarkets, good shopping, a lovely old quarter, Bowling alley and multi cinema as well as the Chateau de Rohan.

Poire gite has a large open plan day room/ kitchen. The kitchen is modern and fully equiped, there is a washing machine also. The Separate sitting room has a tv/video with many films to choose from and there is a stereo system in the dining area. There is a wood-burner in the dayroom, so very cosy for those out of season stays or just for the ambience!! Upstairs has 2 double bedrooms each with a single room off them. The single rooms have bunk beds; please note these are full single bed size, there's also an area for a cot or z bed although both double rooms are big enough for a cot (or 2!!) The bathroom has a bath and shower toilet and basin. Each Gite has a starter pack comprising of: salt, pepper, bin bag, wash liquid, loo roll, sugar, coffee, t-bags and milk. Gite pomme has 2 double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. The shower room and toilette are on the ground floor making it ideal for those who have difficulties climbing stairs. The combined sleeping capacity is 14 + cots and z beds

Outside Area:We have a large trampoline (with guard) as well as other play things and of course the animals to help feed and put to bed! There's a goal for budding footballers and a volley ball/ badmington net, and of course the Rounders bat to get us all going! Each gite has a furnished Patio area and there is a communal Bbq to meet new or old friends. You can walk around our 4 acres, ther's no passing traffic and no neighbours! You can feel very relaxed here. You can Hire Bikes on site to pooter about alongside the canal, or hire our boat the pooter about on the canal, or go to the canal and catch your dinner!
