Location of this Charente-Maritime self catering home.
The house is located 7 kms from the town of Jonzac. The main towns of Saintes and Cognac are about a 30min drive. The airport of La Rochelle is 118kms, Bordeaux 87kms and Angouleme 59kms. The nearest beaches are approx 45mins away.
Jonzac is a town with a history, which boasts a stunning Chateau, many restaurants and bars, taditional shops and 3 supermarkets including a large Leclerc. There is a traditional market both indoor and outdoor, which is well worth a visit. The local food market takes place on Wednesday nights (in season) and is a superb experience, especially if you fancy savouring local mussels and frites with a glass of local wine. There is a superb chateau here and an important archeological dig is currently taking place.
Les Antilles is a spectacular indoor and outdoor water facility, which has a wave machine, poolside spa, giant slide, snack bar, restaurant and man made beaches, known as the Lagoons. It has a sloped entry to the water and is accessible to wheelchair users. Les Antilles also has a health suite with sauna, jacuzzis, spas, steam room and therapeutic warm water swimming areas. This section of the facility is paid for separately from the Lagoon and includes use of a gym. There is also a 'Parc de Loisirs' (recreation park) in Jonzac, which has various facilities for picnics and for lake swimming.

Also on the ground floor is the spacious living room and dining room. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances. This is an ideal home away from home for families or friends wishing to relax in the traditional french countryside.
