This Apartment is situated in a very favorable position, which together with its large living area can permit a comfortable and peaceful stay. Accommodation comprises sitting/living/dining (open plan) complemented with a front balcony, fitted kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, shower room, laundry and a good sized internal yard. Facilities Sleeps 4 to 7 (using 2 king size beds, 2 sofa beds and 1 folding bed) Specifications Ta' Rena Apartment living space is approximately 100m squared, Air-Conditioning is available in the living area (metered), it is also equipped with Cable TV, DVD & library, internet connection and direct telephone line. It has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric hob/oven, microwave, electric toaster/kettle & all kitchen utensils. The laundry room is equipped with automatic washing machine, tumble dryer,Iron Board and hair dryer. Linen, Towels and a generous food pack will be provided on arrival at no extra charge. Maid service is available on request for rental periods of more than 7 nights. To ensure our guests safety this apartments are also equipped with the necessary safety features such as fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and first aid kit. Sliema (or Tas-Sliema) is a city located on the northeast coast of Malta. It is a centre for shopping, restaurants and café life. Sliema is also a major commercial and residential area and houses several of Malta's most modern hotels. Sliema, which means 'peace, comfort', was once a quiet fishing village on the peninsula across Marsamxett Harbour from Valletta. Now Sliema and the coastline up to neighbouring St. Julian's constitutes Malta's main coastal resort

Outside Area:Since our villages did not yet all have their coat-of-arms, just ahead of the visit of the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) to Malta, 1876, the Scholar Nicola Zammit was asked to think them out and get them ready for the occasion. New ones have since been added and others modified, but the rest still remain the same. By that time Tas-Sliema was growing fast into residential area when formerly it was merely a budding summer resort, hardly noticed till the late eighteenth century when Fort Tigne` was built. Because the area had grown in a very short time it was given a coat of arms and a motto. The motto “Celer ad Oras Surgo” (hastily from the coast arisen) contrasting with the slow growth of many of our ancient villages and towns.
