The Arches farmhouse is a quaint property situated in a quiet alley in the heart of the old village of Xewkija on the beautiful Island of Gozo . The house is completed with a few personal touches to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests. The rural surrounding area has lots of charm and character with old houses boasting their own individual features and narrow alleys branching off in different directions. All amenities are in walking distance and there are also plenty of walking opportunities which take you to some breathtaking sites and historical places. A friendly neighbourhood also compliments this enchanted property and it is only a short drive away from the capital of Gozo , Victoria . Car hire and airport transfers can be arranged on request.

All amenities are in walking distance and there are also plenty of walking opportunities which take you to some breathtaking sites and historical places. A friendly neighbourhood also compliments this enchanted property and it is only a short drive away from the capital of Gozo, Victoria. Places of interest include the Citadel in Victoria, the capital of Gozo 10 mins drive away, the Ggantija temples in Xaghra 15 mins drive, the Azure window and Inland Sea in Dwejra just on the outskirts of San Lawrenz 30 mins drive. All in all nowhere is far in Gozo which makes it more of an enjoyable stay, stress free! Plenty of coves and beaches off the beaten track, quad biking, horse riding, sailing are just a few other adventurous activities awaiting you.

On entering the house from the alley, you walk through an old room which boasts original arches and other features which have been carved in the golden coloured limestone. This room leads you into the courtyard which has its pool with loungers , table and chairs to enjoy the outdoor activity. The house comprises of 3 good sized bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. A double room situated on the 2nd floor with a bathroom and two twin rooms on the 1 st floor both with shower/wc facilities. One of the bedrooms has a spare bed (fold down) and cot if required. There is a good size lounge area with TV & DVD player, CD player and a separate kitchen/ dining both overlooking the pool deck. Other facilities available in the house are a microwave and a washing machine. All rooms feature stone slab roofs and wooden beams which add to the warm character of this lovely house. There is a sunning terrace situated on the 2 nd floor with views of the surrounding rural area. The house is beautifully furnished, fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans in all rooms. The Sauna To compliment the house there is a well equipped sauna room, complete with rain shower and relaxing area. The Sauna area is separate to the main house which will guarantee you pure tranquility. Relax and de-stress, a sure way to complete your stay at The Arches. Operation instructions are also provided. For kids The house is child friendly. It is equipped with a very good standard cot of medium size, a highchair and a pushchair. We will endeavour to cater for any other special requests, just let us know in advance. The pool depth is minimum 1m and maximum depth is 1.7m. There are various reading books, children's dvds and some games to keep them entertained.

Outside Area:Private pool is situated in the courtyard of the house includes garden furntiure. Sunbeds available on the roof terrace. there are plants in the courtyard to create a homely feel.
