Manitoulin Island cottage rentals. If you're considering a holiday, then you are most likely after some rest & relaxation more than just about anything. Viva Villa (pronounced Vyva Villa) is the perfect surrounding to de-stress, put your feet up and relax in the midst of the natural splendor of Manitoulin Island. The lake itself is approximately 72 square kilometers (30 square miles) and is fed directly by numerous spring sources, and it in turn feeds Lake Huron over a roaring waterfall just 3 miles down the road. Lake Kagawong is the second largest lake on Manitoulin Island. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, biking, volleyball, badminton and mini-golf are just some of the things you can do right here, anytime you feel like it. Check out the activities page for more information. Manitoulin Island is one of the few locations in Ontario that does not have any black flies, so even spring-time here is pleasant outside. If fishing is more your style, Lake Kagawong is famous locally for it's jumbo perch and smallmouth bass. You will also find pickerel, pike and panfish dotting the lake. Around the area, there is plenty of sightseeing, Bridal Veil Falls for example is just 3 miles down the road. There is horseback riding, some great hiking at the Cup & Saucer hiking trails just 15 minutes down the road, and there are excellent golf courses in both Gore Bay and Mindemoya, 20 minutes from our central location. Local festivals such as pow-wows, fairs.

Rental notes: All prices are in Canadian dollars for the Doe cottage rental. Please contact us for other cottages rental rates. During summer and peak seasons, the minimum rental period is one week. During low season we can accomodate stays of 3 days or more - phone or email for rates. We require a $300 deposit to hold your summer or peak season reservation, or a $200 deposit to hold your low season reservation.

The Doe cottage is 3 bedroom beauty features a large open living room with a cathedral pine ceiling. Full kitchen includes microwave, wood fireplace, satellite TV, 3 piece bath, large private deck and picnic table. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed, and both other bedrooms have modular bunk beds (double beds on the bottom, single on the top) to suit children or couples. The doe accommodates up to 6 people. The Fawn cottage is 3 bedroom wood charmer features an open living room with a cathedral ceiling. Full kitchen includes microwave, airtight wood stove, satellite TV, 3 piece bath. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a modular bunk bed (double bed on the bottom, single on the top) to suit children or couples. The third bedroom has regular bunk beds (2 singles). The fawn accommodates up to 6 people. The Palace is 2 bedroom cottage features a cozy living room and kitchen. Full kitchen includes microwave, wood fireplace, satellite TV, 3 piece bath, private deck and picnic table. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a day bed (single) and a trundle bed (single) that pulls out from underneath. The palace accommodates up to 4 people, but we really recommend it only for 2 or 3. The Beaver is 2 bedroom cottage features a large open living room/kitchen with tongue and groove pine throughout. Full kitchen includes microwave, wood fireplace, satellite TV, 3 piece bath, large private deck and picnic table. The master bedroom contains a queen size bed, and the other bedroom has a modular bunk (double on the bottom, single on the top). The beaver accommodates up to 4 people.
