Your hosts Charlie & Dianna Shailer offer a luxurious homestay and tours of their four-hundred cow dairy farm. Their 128 hectare (318 acres) property looks up at the distinctive and beautiful Pirongia Mountain. Many mountain walks and tracks are within easy reach of Shailers Bed & Breakfast. Hamilton City is the gateway to the Central North Island and in the heart of the mighty Waikato. It is at the centre of one of the richest agricultural and pastoral areas in the world and is the largest inland city in New Zealand. A rapidly growing and vibrant city, Hamilton is a hub of education and scientific research, parks and gardens, fine cuisine and cafes, culture and attractions. Whether it's adventure you're after or sheer relaxation, Hamilton offers it all. Thrill seekers can head underground and experience caving, float through limestone grottos or go abseiling. Above ground, try mountain biking, hot air ballooning or kayaking. For those looking to unwind, discover the mineral hot springs or explore one of Hamilton's many world class restaurants cafes or bars. Shailers offer three bedrooms. Their middle sized room doubles as either a Queen or Twin room. This room has an adjoining bathroom which is fully equipped for wheelchair and disability requirements. The deluxe room is very spacious with King size bed, ensuite and sky T.V. Their double room, with double bed and private bathroom comes with a single person rate for the lone traveller.

Outside Area:The Shailer homestead offers scenic views of their 128 hectare (313acres) dairy farm. The homestead ground are spacious with generous areas of flower gardens and a well kept vegetable garden. The Shailers offer farm tours with rubber boots and overalls provided.
