La Biblaiserie is situated in its own meadow and woodland with an abundance of wildlife. Deer roam the meadow and its great for bird watchers. This is an opportunity to get away where the weather is normally sunnier and dryer than in the U.K. and if the evenings are a bit chilly our central heating will take care of that! There is much to see and do in this historic area. The cities of Troys, Auxerre, Sens, Fontainebleau and Orleans abound in history. Purchase Paris Visite tickets which give you unlimited travel on busses and trains throughout Paris. Alternatively you can drive there as it is only 75 miles (120km) up the A6 Autoroute. For a local market (Thursday mornings), shops, post office, bars and restaurants Courtenay is just 10 minutes drive away. Getting here from Calais is only 4 hours driving time.

Rental notes: The above rates are for a family of four occupying two bedrooms. 2 or more weeks £110 per week. Our winter rental rates of £120 for a week or £220 for two weeks.

The centrally heated apartment on offer is accessed from its own entrance and up an attractive staircase to a large landing dining area with a picture window overlooking the paddock. The fully equipped kitchen has electric cooking, kettle, toaster, refridgerator, microwave and washing machine. Iron and board available. Toilet and shower. Comfortable lounge with satellite T.V. Two bedrooms with wash basins, sleeping up to 4 people. One has a double bed and the other one has two single beds or a double if preferred Beds will be made up for you but please bring your own towels and tea towels.

Outside Area:The house has its own entrance, garden with barbeque and place for parking.
