Owned by an English family, this is a beautifully restored “house of character”, a perfect family hideaway, spacious enough for any family or group of up to ten. It is situated in the sleepy village of Sannat, in one of the old stone-built terraced streets leading from the centre.
Sannat is a typical Gozitan village offering a unique blend of the ancient and modern.
This is an old property but it has been extended and modernised sensitively. It is very well-kept by its owners, with regular cleaning and general maintenance.
Close the door behind you and walk along sunlit natural stone corridors, around a central courtyard, past a ground floor bedroom to an open-plan sitting and dining room.

Location of this Gozo vacation home in Malta.
Sannat is one of the oldest villages in Gozo. It still has a strong farming community, the village being surrounded by mosaics of tiny fields, lovingly tended by families through the generations.
Sannat’s local beach is the charming tiny cove at the end of a spectacular ravine: Mgarr ix-Xini (mm-jar ish-sheenie) - also just minutes away by car. There is just one rustic café, a beach…and, for most of the year, solitude. In the summer it is a popular meeting place for swimming and scuba diving.
A short drive away (or walk, depending on your preference) to the west there is the lovely little bay of Xlendi ( shlendie) where there is a beach, bars, restaurants and tourist shopping. It is a great place for sundowners.
