Casa Molino is part of a newly converted olive mill. It sleeps six and has a 7x8m solar-heated swimming pool, patio, and secure parking. It has a large lounge on the first floor and roofterrace on the second that take advantage of the superb south facing position with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada. It is only 30 minutes to Granada, and about one hour to the coast at Salobreña and the SKIING on Sierra Nevada. Ideal for those who want to get to know real Spain or explore Granada's heritage but have a quiet bolt hole at the end of the day and mixed groups where some can ski on 100km of runs from 2100-3200m during a December-May season. Granada airport is about 35 minutes and Almería and Málaga 90 minutes. Restaurants, bars, bank and shops are within walking distance and there are daily deliveries of fresh bread to the door. Far enough from the coast not to be a tourist area but real rural Spain. The locals speak Spanish but are very friendly. Casa Molino is on the edge of Diezma village with fields to one side and hills to another. A tranquil base, ideal for country walks and, being a kilometre from the A92 motorway, for exploring Granada, two natural parks and the less well known north of the province. Casa Molino sleeps six in three bedrooms with separate bath and shower rooms. Six rooms have windows taking advantage of the south-facing aspect just above the town centre with a the spectacular view from east to west of most of the 3000m peaks in the Sierra Nevada range, snow capped well into spring. Ground floor: large kitchen/dining room with log burning stove, two bedrooms and shower room with basin and wc. First floor: spacious lounge with open stairs, french window and balcony taking advantage of the spectacular view, principal bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with full size bath, bidet, basin and wc. Second floor: utility room opening onto south-facing 23m² terrace. Very suitable for people of LIMITED MOBILITY.

A World Heritage Centre with the Alhambra, Generalife palace, gardens and Albaicín white town on the adjacent hill; it has a cathedral with the tomb of Ferdinand and Isabella, a university, monasteries and Plaza de Toros. Capital of the Arab Kingdom in Europe for 800 years until 1492 reconquest by Ferdinand and Isabella. An eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, tapas bars and hotels; with classical, flamenco, jazz and Arabic music available in many different venues. Guadix, 19 kms east, has a wealth of grand buildings, Cathedral, Alcazaba and biggest concentration of cave dwellings in Europe. There are more caves at Purullena [15km], Graena [18km] spa town with thermal baths. La Calahorra [36km] palace castle, Italian Renaissance courtyard. La Ragua pass [48km], trekking/cross country ski centre, 2000m, leading over Sierra Nevada to Las Alpujarras.

With just one step between the pool, patio and parking and the ground floor - which contains two bedrooms, shower room, kitchen and dining room - the house is very suitable for people of limited mobility.
Outside Area:There is car access and parking inside a secure gate with a patio and pool shared with three other properties. The 7m x 8m solar-heated pool is in use from May to October and goes from 1.3m at the steps to 1.8m maximum. There is a table and sun umbrella for dining al fresco in front of the house, by the pool.
