Essert Romand holiday chalet - Self catering vacation chalet near Morzine

The Grand Apartment, a beautiful chalet located on the outskirts of Essert Romand (with plenty of trees and good views) yet situated only 6 minutes from central Morzine and the Pleney Telecabine. Its location allows easy access to the rest of the Portes du Soleil which is one of the largest ski areas in the world. Avoriaz, Ardent and Le Plain Dranse, all side by side, are among the best areas in Europe for Snow conditions and in the case of Ardent and Avoriaz have received in recent years Multi Million Euros investment in Snow Cannon as well. We ourselves owning and operating Chalet Andu have always had full seasons of skiing in the Twenty Four years that we have been here.

The local facilities include a large and modern Champion Supermarket, and numerous smaller supermarkets, and a weekly farmer's market. The local area provides many small businesses typical to the region, and Morzine-Avoriaz itself has much to offer. Car is not essential as free bus in the summer (200 meters away) and Chalet/Hotel Complimentary Shuttle in Winter. Morzine-Avoriaz is the centre of the ski area and located approximately 6 minutes away by bus in season. Les Get is within easy access as well. Wide open spaces, challenging ski-slopes and bump runs for those in search of an adrenalin rush. Deep snow for leaving tracks around a mountain chalet or through the trees…. Long slopes for practising wide turns, ideal for families and the very young to learn on. From France to Switzerland, there is no end of pleasure to be had here. Morzine has many restaurants and bars and numerous high quality shopping areas. Undoubtly though, it's main attraction is that it is the central and busy hub for the Porte Du Soleil skiing region. The Portes du Soleil is the largest ski area in the world, featuring 650km of piste and considered to be superior to both Chamonix and the 3-Valleys. Further to this it features extensive off-piste possibilities. Chalet Andu is no more than 6 minutes from the first lift, which gives access to all 14 linked resorts of the Porte-du-Soleil.

Rental notes: Balance 2 months prior to arrival. A security deposit 300 euro is required on arrival. All prices quoted based on 7 nights accommodation and self-catered. Short breaks and weekends are available by arrangement. Note: smoking is permitted on the balconies and in the grounds. We do allow pets, but please inform us of your pet first.

The Grand Apartment has a particularly spacious Lounge/Dining/Kitchen Area. Well appointed ground floor apartment has a combined kitchenette (dishwasher, hob & oven), lounge and dining area which can accommodate up to 10 people. There are 4 bedrooms (2 with double and a single bed, 1 with 2 bunk beds, 1 with 2 singles or 1 double bed and en suite bathroom. There is also another bathroom.

Outside Area:The apartment has full access to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna (12 persons).
