Welcome to Gites de Papillon, Callac, Brittany, France. We offer the perfect holiday homes for your stay in Brittany. Full of original features and character, each of our gites has its own entrance and is newly refurbished to a high standard. Our aim is to provide all the comforts of home in truly French surroundings. Each gite can be rented individually but, as they are both interlinked by a door, they are ideal for booking together for the larger family or two families wanting to book together.

In the middle of Brittany, set amidst the green and picturesque countryside of the Pays d'Argoat, lies the town of Callac with its market square, church, bars, restaurants, creperies and traditional gift shops. The lively Wednesday morning market attracts farmers, artisans and visitors from across the region and is an experience not to be missed. Callac is known as the "green place to holiday" and its main feature is Le Lac de la Vallée Verte, a magnificent lake surrounded by unspoiled woodlands.

Rental notes: The balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Upon arrival a refundable deposit 100 Euros is required in case of damage to property/contents. Towels can be hired 5 Euros p/p per week. A laundry service provided (wash and dry) 5 Euros per load. Continental breakfast available daily on request.

Large living room with exposed beams, stone wall and open stairs. English television and video. The separate kitchen area is fully equipped. The bathroom is complete with shower cubicle, vanity unit and toilet. Each of the two bedrooms has exposed beams and a velux window. One bedroom has a double bed and feature wall, the second has two single beds. We offer a laundry service at a small additional cost and towels can also be hired.

Outside Area:The large garden is equipped with barbecue and garden furniture for your use. The garden is fully enclosed and safe. The pool terrace and play area in full view from the seating area. So you can relax in the knowledge that your children are happy and able to have the freedom of the garden and all the many toys available on a play area. We have a fully enclosed terraced pool area furnished with sun loungers. With a depth of 1.2m the pool is ideal for both younger children and adults. Also for the over 16's there is a Spa pool which can be used and with a temperture of 39 deg. C it is the perfect way to unwind. Our latest venture is our mina farm which allows you and your children to watch our animals play and be fed in their free range enclosure. We have two Kunekune pigs Flash and Petal, they are relatively small but have big personalities. We have mini goats Tilly and Milly and her babies Noisette and Nougatine, a Shetland pony named Venus who can give your little ones (under 12) a pony ride.
