Welcome to La Maison des Pruneaux. We are a traditional working plum farm constructed of local stone, set amid vines, plum trees and farmland with far reaching views of the local countryside.
The distinctive purple d'ente' plums are harvested on the property in late August and are then dried locally to make the world famous Agen prune. The process of gently shaking the trees with a mechanical shaker attached to a tractor catches the plums in a brightly coloured "umbrella" as seen in the photo below, is a common site in the area.
The farmhouse has recently undergone extensive modernisation to bring it into the 21st century to meet the needs of the modern traveller, but still ensuring peace and tranquility.

Each bedroom is comfortably furnished and has super comfortable beds. Each room can accomodate an extra full size single bed if required and the modern bathrooms have fluffy towels and luxury toiletries with which to pamper yourself.
In additition, there is a relaxation area, adjacent to the bedrooms, where you are free to make yourselves a hot drink (tea,coffee milk & sugar provided ) a snack, or a picnic for a days sightseeing, or unwind after a day's activities
