It is in the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales, in the pretty town of Prades that Benoit and Robson will have the pleasure to welcome you. The house that dates back to 1870 offers 5 en suite bedrooms, a spacious garden, private parking and a fantastic view of the Canigou, this Pyrenean summit so cherished by the Catalan people. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served on the shady terrace, stroll the streets of Prades during market days, participate in the famous Pablo Casal festival or simply go and conquer the Pyrenees. In addition to the Pablo Casals festival, events such as the “Cine-Rencontres”, the Roman days, the summer Catalan university, the Festival de Bandes-Dessinees or the Canigou race provide a large choice of activities.

Located 40 minutes from Perpignan, Prades is situated along the river Tet, on the Road N116 which leads to Andorra and Spain. Every Tuesday the farmers market attracts a varied and lively crowd. The biggest baroque retable of France can be found in the St Pierre church. While Prades still enjoys a mediterranean climate, the Canigou summit (2785 m.) dominates the town. The world famous Pablo Casals Music Festival (last week of July and two first weeks of August) and the ‘music saturdays’ contribute to Prades’ reputation as a cultural centre. Villefranche-de-Conflent, a UNESCO heritage site is only 10 minutes away, while the spa town of Vernet-les-Bains is another 10 further. The 'petit train jaune' which climb from Villefranche-de-Conflent to the highest station in Europe at Bolquére is another must fort tourists. Cycling, VTT, riding, hiking, climbing, potholing are very popular in the region.

Built around 1870, this maison de maître offers plenty of space to its guest. The cosy lounge, equipped with a fire place is available for guest who wish to relax, read a book from the library or simply have a chat and a cup of tea. Period doors with their original features connect the lounge with the dining room where breakfast is served on colder days, from here french doors lead to the terrace and the garden. Four of the rooms are equipped with en suite shower rooms, the fifth one has its own bathroom across the corridor. All rooms are equipped with a radio and a kettle so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

Outside Area:The terrace shaded by a lovely vine is the ideal place to have breakfast or to socialise with other guest. The well established south facing garden with shreds and flowers beds offers plenty of space to relax in the shade or in the sun. Barbecues are available should you wish to cook your own dinner. Our parking is situated a the very back of the garden. It can be reached through a gate giving access to a back street.
