Live the French Dream Nicole and Pierre Balvay welcome you to their restored 14th century château, nestled amongst the vines and sunflower fields of Burgundy, for a taste of the real France. A holiday at Château de Balleure is like no other. With a specially designed French language and cultural course created just for you. You will experience day-to-day French life and customs, learn the language, and make friends you'll keep forever. Living with Pierre and Nicole, your visit to France will give you more than any package holiday could as you'll take away a deep understanding of this country's culture and history. Courses can also be developed for business and professional purposes. Nicole and Pierre will create a French language and cultural course tailored to your specific requirements based on the time you have available to spend with them.

A holiday in a castle is magical in itself, but a holiday at Château de Balleure will immerse you in the French language and culture, not just in the beautiful surroundings. Balleure is a charming French village set in a beautiful and peaceful countryside. It is surrounded by historical sites, market towns, tracks for hikers and lakes with the famous Burgundy vineyards in the area. The château has belonged to the same family since 1791.

Rental notes: French language & cultural course: €1350 per week per person. The course fee includes your customised French language and cultural course, accommodation in the studio or guest rooms, and all home-cooked meals. Accommodation only rooms can be booked without the French course, pending availability. The minimum stay is one week, and additional nights can be added. The rates below are for two people per room, and include breakfast. Additional guests can be added to a booking with a supplement. Guest room – sleeps 3 (1 x double, 1 x single) €500 weekly, €85 extra night. Studio– sleeps 3 (3 x singles) €600 weekly, €100 extra night. Apartment – sleeps 6 (2 x doubles, 2 x singles) €1100 weekly, €185 extra night. Additional guests €30 weekly, €5 per day.

Les Saveurs du chateau has the following accommodation: Chambre d'hôte Large bedroom with separate bathroom and a smaller bedroom. Convenient for a couple or a family with one child. Apartment Luxury flat on the third floor of the castle. Large living area, large kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 2 smaller single rooms, bathroom, beautiful views all around. Studio Very large self contained room with a lot of character, bathroom, and kitchen corner. can sleep 2 to 4 persons. You can choose to buy take away meals from your hosts or sit at their table.
