Dubrovnik self catering villa in Croatia - Secluded village vacation home

Villa Izvor is located in a secluded and private setting overlooking the beautiful Konavle wine country. The spacious American Style home offers guests the opportunity to rest and relax in an undisturbed atmosphere. The original home was built on the site over 400 years ago. The owner has been able to preserve the foundation and the original old vaults in their original state. There are 4 large bedrooms with queen size beds. The 5th bedroom which is the master suite has a large king size bed with a bathroom that includes a jacuzzi tub. Altogether, there are three and a half bathrooms. The bathroom on the main floor has a large oversized shower as does the one upstairs. The floorplan of the home was designed to offer guests the opportunity to share the home, but not to feel overcrowded. There are actually two livingrooms. One downstairs and one upstairs. Each one has overstuffed furniture. The kitchen is large with a center island as well as having Italian tile throughout. Downstairs, there is a gameroom with a pool table that converts into a pingpong table The outside was also created for comfort. There is a large outdoor woodburning barbeque that can be used for a small dinner, but it also has a large rotissery that can hold a whole lamb. A fire place has been added to the back patio to make an indoor/out door living space. Also there is now a soccer field that is part of the villa. The pool area is spacious enough to easily hold 60 people and allows guests to actually have the feeling of having a private pool that could be part of a hotel. For our guests who do not wish to cook, the owners offer some meal service that can be arranged in advance.

The villa is located in a secluded setting. There are quiet village roads to peacefully walk or hike. The area has vineyards and a few wineries where guests may purchase bottles of wine directly from the vintner. Fifteen minutes away is a beautiful river where one of the most popular restaurants sits. This is Konavski Dvori which is famous for its traditional "under the bell" veal and lamb as well as fresh farmed trout. Along with this, the restaurant bakes its own traditional bread under the bell every day. If guests would like to swim in the ocean, it is only 10 minutes away at the beach in Molinut. Also, the villa sits about five minutes by car from the border of Montinegro.

Rental notes: The balance is due by the day of arrival or one week prior to date of arrival if by bank wire transfer. The owners will greet the guests. The check in time is 3pm and the check out time is 10am

When you walk into Villa Izvor, you can’t help but feel immediately relaxed. This home is spacious with all the amenities you could possibly want for your peaceful vacation. There are two living rooms, five bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms. Each living room has extremely comfortable couches and televisions for you to lay back and take a load off for a while. There is a lovely kitchen with a large center island and the floor is covered in Italian tile. Each bedroom has an extremely comfortable queen sized bed which you will find quite spacious. The Master Bedroom has a king sized bed and a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The bottom floor is for a little fun. Down there, you can play some pool or convert the table and play ping pong.

Outside Area:Of course there is plenty to do outside as well and still feel utterly comfortable. In the back there is a large outdoor wood burning barbeque. Out front there is a lovely terrace with a large table for you to eat dinner outside every night, if you wish. You can also enjoy a hot cup of tea, or a lovely glass of wine and watch the sun set in the lounge chairs on the terrace. Walk about fifty feet and you will have entered in to the pool area. A charming pool with chairs and umbrellas, you can enjoy your own private pool your entire stay. If you don’t feel like cooking on your vacation, there is a small village restaurant located directly across from the Villa. If you prefer, the owners of the restaurant will take orders in advance and bring the meals to you so you may enjoy a quiet meal on the terrace, in the patio or around the pool. There are also wonderful restaurants just a short drive away in neighboring towns, if you can pull yourself away from the serene Villa Izvor.
