The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a small complex in Algorfa, a lovely Spanish town nestling in the mountains. It is an excellent location for those who wish to explore this area of Spain and to experience all that is on offer.

The town itself has a couple of supermarkets, farmacia (chemist), butchers, bakers, fish shop, tobacco shop, a couple of electric shops, garden centre, d.i.y. shops and a number of other shops and bars. There is a beautiful square complete with water fountain, there are two Spanish bars, one is a tapas bar showing Spanish football! The Tropicana is an English bar and there is also a disco – the Acropolis. There is a market in the square on Wednesday mornings, mainly fresh produce and a few other stalls too. Guadamar Beach has one of the largest beaches in Spain and is a 10-15 minutes drive from the apartment, it is golden sand and has a children’s play area. Guadamar also has a natural pine forest leading down to the sand dunes and the sea. The promenade has an abundance of cafes, shops, bars, restaurants.
