Villa Margherita is perfect for up to 8 people, with three double bedrooms and one bedroom with 2 single beds, three bathrooms, large dining room, all modern plumbing and beautifully decorated, Satellite TV and Internet service. On the same gated compound is the Villa Marzia, on the ground floor of the noble villa. Villa Marzia, a very spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the ground floor of a noble 17th century villa. There is a sofa-bed for a 5th person. There is a pool for your private use of the Villa Marzia overlooking a panoramic view. If you haven’t visited the Lucca area, you will find it to be a pleasant surprise. There is biking and walking on the road at the top of the Renaissance wall that surrounds the city. The cafes are teeming with pastries and the artisan chocolate shops are filled to the brim with local specialties. Enjoy many great restaurants, cafes and a wonderful shopping district and a new wine bar featuring 40 of the Northern Tuscany wines. There are classical music and Puccini concerts in the church of San Giovanni Battista (around the corner from the Cathedral of San Martino) , every evening , featuring works of Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and other Italian composers (All of this, because it is the birthplace of opera composer, Giacomo Puccini). Villa Margherita is located in a stunning scenic location, 2 kilometers to a village food market, restaurants & cafes. It centrally located for convenient day trips to Lucca (15 minutes), Pisa and the sea-side beaches of Viareggio (40 minutes), Montecatini, the famous spa town,(20 minutes). And a pleasant 1-20 minutes to the Cinque Terre. About 45 minutes by car from Florence, or you can drive your car to a nearby train station and from there, it is a pleasant hour by train to the Florence station in the center of town, thereby avoiding traffic and parking problems. There are several small lovely restaurants among the vineyards nearby for a relaxing dinner after a day’s travels

Villa Margherita is located in a stunning scenic location, 2 kilometers to a village food market, restaurants & cafes. It centrally located for convenient day trips to Lucca (15 minutes), Pisa and the sea-side beaches of Viareggio (40 minutes), Montecatini, the famous spa town,(20 minutes). And a pleasant 1-20 minutes to the Cinque Terre. About 45 minutes by car from Florence, or you can drive your car to a nearby train station of Pescia and from there, it is a pleasant hour by train to the Florence station in the center of town, thereby avoiding traffic and parking problems. There are several small lovely restaurants among the vineyards nearby for a relaxing dinner after a day’s travels. A car is necessary to reach the villa and enjoy the countryside sights of interest.

Rental notes: A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a reservation. (Please consider Travelers Insurance for unexpected cancellations.) The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Detailed directions will be sent via email upon payment of the balance. Booking Periods Bookings are generally taken by the week from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival and Departure Times Guests are generally requested to arrive between 4 pm and 6 pm, and to vacate apartments on day of departure by 10 am.
