A comfortable Bed and Breakfast in town. Breakfast is a full hot breakfast always featuring a homemade pastry, eggs, bacon, homemade granola, fruit and/or fruit juice, fresh hot coffee and tea. Handmade quilts on every bed, in-house shop with quilted wallhangings, knitted items and felted items. You may also choose to take craft lessons (sewing, knittin, felting) while you are here. Homer has plenty to do, hiking, boating, sightseeing, fishing, kayaking, are just a few. Homer has more good restaurants than most cities 10 times it's size. There are lots of creative people in Homer giving you lots of arts and crafts to view and purchase. Most galleries feature local artists and artists from other parts of Alaska. Homer has a Farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the summer.

The Spyglass is in downtown Homer. Homer is at the end of the Kenai Peninsula. As the famous writer from Homer titled one of his books, Homer is "As Far As You Can Go Without A Passport". Homer is on beautiful Kachemak Bay, with three glaciers across the bay, one of which you can hike to after taking a water taxi to the other side. Halibut Cove is another artists community across the Bay. The Danny J takes you there twice a day , for lunch or dinner. There are water taxies that will take you to the many coves across the bay for hiking or kayaking. You can choose from many companies that fly you to Katmai National Park to see the bears in their native settings. You can fish for halibut,salmon. rockfish, ling cod, and more. Don't forget to purchase your fishing license and your halibut Derby Ticket.

Rental notes: Price is quoted for Fireweed Room and Midnight Sun Room, the price for Captain’s Quarters is 140 USD/night plus tax. Prices based on double occupancy and do not include tax. The Captain’s Quarters and The Midnight Sun Room can accommodate a third person for an additional 25USD plus tax.

Three rooms are available. Each has a private bath and a private entrance. Each has use of a microwave and refrigerator. The Captain’s Quarters is on the main floor and has a king sized bed, a full sized wall bed, and a full bath. tor. The Captains Quarters has a private deck. The Fireweed Room is on the lower floor with a queen bed and full bath. It shares a porch, microwave and refrigerator with the other downstairs room. It has cable TV with a DVD player. The Midnight Sun Room is also on the lower floor and features a seamless king bed and a twin wall bed and a 3/4 bath. It shares a porch, microwave and refrigerator with the other room. The Fireweed Room and the Midnight Sun Room share a covered porch.

Outside Area:Gardens and lawn, where moose are frequently seen and black bear occasionally seen.
