It is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The three-story villa is surrounded by four acres of private grounds with paths through gardens and tropical trees. La Diosa combines traditional island decor with Miami style to create an ambience that is chic, Caribbean, and fun!

For divers and snorkelers, La Diosa is paradise! The Northeast end of Roatan has some of the island's most spectacular and uncrowded diving and snorkeling spots, many are only minutes away from La Diosa. There are wonderful reef outcroppings in front of La Diosa easily accessible from the dock. The outlying reef is fascinating and is easily reached by kayak. We have provided four buoys by the best spots to tie the kayaks to. The Villa has three ocean kayaks and 160 feet of beach front. For other spots along the North shore, Subway Watersports, our excellent local dive shop, will pick your party up off our dock and take you diving or snorkeling. And while La Diosa is secluded and private, restaurants, shopping, and Roatan's many attractions are not far away. Our guests say that the location is perfect to explore Roatan's many attractions. To the east are the deserted beaches of Camp Bay and Paya Bay, the historic towns of Jonestown and Oakridge with their tours of the mangroves, and the Garifuna village of Punta Gorda. To the west, enjoy the great restaurants at Turquoise Bay (5 minutes) and French Harbor (15 minutes). The longest zip line in the Caribbean is nearby, and the beautiful Black Pearl Golf Course only 12 minutes away.

Rental notes: A refundable security deposit of 500 USD is payable upon arrival in Roatan.

Two master suites feature private porches, oversize marble showers, and private baths with en suite bidets. Both suites face the Caribbean Sea, with fantastic views. All bedrooms are air-conditioned for your comfort. The guest bedroom has a double bed with Pablo lamps and an adjoining bathroom. The Writer's Tower on the third story has a standing desk, a futon, and panoramaic views of the Caribbean and harbor. The Great Room is wonderfully appointed with soaring ceilings, comfortable furniture and chic lighting and designer touches. We have an extensive video library for you to enjoy and a reading library of fiction and non-fiction works. The large gourmet kitchen has a stocked pantry, large kitchen island for conversation and cooking, and every utensil for the serious or occasional cook.

Outside Area:The saltwater infinity pool and sundeck feature loungers (both land and water!), a outdoor daybed, and a stainless steel grill. There are volleyball nets for the athletically inclined. The poolside game room is a fun combination of '50's funk and Caribbean lilt, with blue and green penny-round tiles on the wall, a large bar designed by local craftsmen, a pool table and a comfortable daybed. For the truly ambitious, there is also an exercise room with weights, pilates equipment, yoga mats, and videos. A large bridge spans the back of the hill on the second floor, leading to the arbors and the gardens. A path system thorughout the property takes you to meditation gardens, spectacular views, and tropical fruit trees whose abundance you are free to share.
