Dar Nour Asilah, refurbished in 2010 with typical Moroccan decor and furnishings as well as mod cons, is located in a charming cul-de-sac just outside the walls of the Asilah Medina. It is a town house structure with 4 floors, including roof terrace with views of the Atlantic just 200m away. A car may be parked very close to the house with no problems. The house provides easy access to the Medina and other parts of the town of Asilah, and an immersion in traditional Moroccan life in a laid-back, 'no hassle' place. The house is available for holiday rental all year, weekly, for the weekend or by the day. A fully equipped kitchen diner provides the necessary facilities for a self-catering holiday in a traditional setting. All linens, towels and cleaning are included, and the house has washing machine. An English-speaking Moroccan assistant meets guests at the town gates. He can provide any necessary information and assistance with any practical or linguistic problem.

Asilah is a smallish, very pretty fishing town 45 Km south of Tangier on the Atlantic coast. Its location provides a good base for excursions to Tangier itself, but is much more tranquil, as well as Chefchaouen and Tetouan further afield. Great Atlantic beaches are located just to the south and to the north of the town. Compared to the bustle of Tangier, it presents a tranquil alternative way to experience Morocco, without the hassle. The ancient (15th century) Portuguese walls, with ramparts and canons, still surround the core of the old town (the Medina), and the houses, whitewashed and painted in the Mediterranean blue and turquoise, are traditional in style. Road traffic is limited outside the town walls, and everything is easily reached on foot. In August each year, the town hosts the Asilah Culural Festival, celebrating the tradition of mural painting and plastic arts.

Dar Nour Asilah, refurbished in 2010 with typical Moroccan decor and furnishings as well as mod cons, is a town house structure with 4 floors, including roof terrace with views of the Atlantic just 200m away. Lounge with Moroccan sofas, which can be used as single beds, table and storage cupboard. The sofas were custom built and designed to fit in this room. The mirror and table were also hand-crafted. Living room 2 has two Moroccan couches which can be use as single beds and large table. In the stairwell there is a mosaic stone fountain with gently running water. A fully equipped kitchen diner provides the necessary facilities for a self-catering holiday in a traditional setting. The design of the mirror frame is the same as the table in the kitchen. It was handmade by one of Asilah's most established artisans. This is the master bedroom, with one double bed and one single bed, plus two night tables. There are wardrobes and cupboards containing full sets of linen and towels. This bedroom contains twin beds, night tables, and wardrobes and cupboards with all linens and towels. The rug is a classic hand-made Berber carpet. The walls and floor are painted in the traditional colours of Asilah: lime-based white and blue.
Outside Area:The top floor features a roof terrace and upper roof terrace, which is accessible via a wooden staircase. The main terrace area is equipped with a garden table and six chairs. There are great views of the Atlantic Ocean, 200m away – still better views of the sunset from the upper roof terrace!
