In Playa Blance, this modern spacious attractively furnished apartment, with partial views of Montana Roja and the complex gardens, is within easy striking distance of the beaches, shops, restaurants and port. The apartment can sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 10. There is one double/twin bedroom and one twin bedroom, together with 2 sofa beds, as well as a well equipped kitchen/diner and lounge area. It has a great, large, sunny terrace; wonderful for relaxing or enjoying a meal alfresco.

Playa Blanca (meaning White Beach) is the name of a newer resort area on the southern-most tip of the island of Lanzarote. It was once upon a time a small fishing village, and still has a port, from which fishing boats set out and which is the terminal for the ferries that ply between the resort and the adjoining island of Fuerteventura. The 'front' is not a road but consists of a lengthy promenade stretching the length of the shore line from the port. The main shopping street is pedestrianised, with lots of boutiques, banks and restaurants. Restaurants in the resort range from fast food to quite posh, most of them child-friendly, offering local as well as international dishes. The resort has three beaches, of which the best for families is Playa Flamingo, behind the Hotel Playa Flamingo, with its protective rock breakwaters. This beach is the closest to the apartment.

Rental notes: Payment can be made either by U.K bank/building society cheque (if booking more than 21 days prior to departure) or via Paypal, for which there will be a 4% transaction charge. Arrangements can be made for payments to be made in Euros, directly to Spanish bank account. All balance payments to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. A refundable security deposit of £150.00 to be paid with the balance payment.

The apartment has two bedrooms: one double, one twin; a very large terrace; a good-sized, open-plan living-room/kitchen-diner; and a super bathroom. The apartment’s kitchen is equipped with: microwave oven, fridge-freezer, electric hob, fan oven, stainless-steel sink and mixer tap, extractor fan, ample storage space and crockery, cutlery and glasses for 6 people. In the living area, there is a radio, a television (Spanish channels), DVD player, room heater (for cooler winter evenings), and a small collection of books and DVDs. There is also a washing machine and a large electric water tank/heater. Cots and high chairs can be supplied for a small charge. Each bedroom has good furnishings with linen, rugs, and bedside lamps, plus ample built-in wardrobe space. The bathroom is fully tiled, with: 4-piece suite, shower over the bath, shaver socket, illuminated mirror, vanity unit, laundry bin and accessories.

Outside Area:This first floor apartment has a very large terrace, complete with a patio table and chairs with parasol, plus 4 adjustable loungers and a small coffee table. From the extensive terrace, there is a lovely view of part of the surrounding gardens and a partial view of Montana Roja. For those hiring a car, there is plenty of space for parking not far from the apartment.
