Luxury gite/apartment Isabel (100m2) situated in a former silk factory at the banks of the small river ''Le Doux'' near the medieval village of Desaignes.( massoir.nl) From the gite you have a splendid vieuw on the hills of the Ardèche. Fenced garden which is safe for children and dogs. Isabel is very light, it has a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, wooden floor and three bedrooms. A bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet and wash basin), a bedroom with double bed and bunkbed and wash basins. A third small bedroom. Second shower and toilet in gite. All these rooms give access through French windows to a covered terrace at the same level (loggia). This allows you to read and have dinner outside even when it rains. A stone stairway leads to the outside terrace with deck chairs and dining table. Second private terras with b.b.q. At the other side of the fence is the small river ''Le Doux'' where you can bath, sunbath, construct dams and fish. At three min. by foot, there is a swimming lake with beach during july and August. The village is at 800 m. with baker, butcher, a shop, tourist office and castle museum. The environment is beautiful, with a lot of walking and cycling tours. You can also do horseriding, play tennis, golf, visit markets and fly markets. Daytrips to the volcanic area of the Gerbier de Jonc and cities as Valence and Le Puy with their ancient centres. Isabel can also be rented together with one or two other gites (families, groups). Max. 16 persons

The gite is located at 3 minutes walk from the caracteristic medieval village Desaignes on the beautiful hills of the Ardeche. For those who look for a quiet place, but also for those who like to walk, cycle and want to make daytrips.

Outside Area:The gite has a private terrace with barbeque and fenced garden, plastic swimming pool for children. At the other side of the fence is a small river where you can bath, sunbath and fisch. At three minutes walk, during Summer months, a small swimming lake with beach. Jeu de boules course.
